This should answer all of your questions... and it also proves that it will be in the Verizon stores very shortly....

sounds like everything I want in a phone!

i am able to get a new phone on oct 11, and was very very close to purchasing the samsung 670. I saw this one and now I am considering waiting until its released! I know the 6000 was a huge success, but I am a little skeptical because this one could not do as well (take into consideration the hype about the lg 4400 and then the 4500 was not as good.)

is the driving mode the thing that many of the other phones have now (like the samsung one) where you say something like digit dial and then you speak the actual digits into the phone? and speakerphone? it sounds too good to be true! I didn't want to get an audiovox for those features!

external display

I assume the external display is like the ones on the VX4400 where it is permantly on, not like on the LX5550 or VX6000 where is scrolls and turns off after a few minutes? And I see this phone has drive mode like the LX5550! That's awesome!

Analog?

So i see that analog roaming is added to the phone! so i see that verizon finally is admitting they don't have a perfect all digital network and then went back to the tri-band. Any opinions on if more phones will be going back to adding more analog?

Release date

For those of you who have connections with people who work for VZW, when are they going to release this phone? I was going to wait for it to come out because of the improvements from the 6000, but how much longer do I have to wait!? 😁

No Bluetooth = No Sale

I've got a VX6000, and it's easily the best phone I've ever owned, in terms of design and RF performance. But assuming the 6100, 7000, or 8000 ever get through Verizon's insanely slow testing process, they'll all lose my money to the Moto V710 because of its Bluetooth connectivity. Aside from the V710, everything upcoming for Verizon seems to be high-end phones with low-end cameras soldered into them and nothing more. Hopefully LG will realize the need for a Bluetooth product, because the quality of their phones easily beats Motorola.

No Bluetooth

😢

The phone looks fine and the 6000 is the best phone I've ever owned.

But, why can't LG add Bluetooth to one of their models?

Two more lacks

These are only luxury:

No picture ID and no video clip recording. This is in comparison to the VX8000

Confused...

Yet another LG VX phone. This leaves me with one question. Since the FCC release of this phone is so late with the rest of the series, which of the 6100, 7000, and 8000 will be released first? The obvious answer is the 6100, but I have already heard rumors of the 7000 being cancelled to shorten the wait time for the release of the 8000. So, which phone WILL be released first?
