here is a very short list of why this is a smart phone made by EXTREMLEY stupid people.

1. whoever made the unlock screen should be fired.
2. the phone drops off bluetooth constantly.
3. the gps dosent work AT ALL!!
4. the phone freezes up to 8 times a day.
5. the sd card is behind the battery.
6. what moron puts a charging port on the side of a phone.
7. almost all the apps foreclose and have problems.
8. drops off wifi constantly.
9. everytime you go back into your music playlist it restarts it from the beginning,morons!!
10.no zoom on video camera.wtf!!
11. theres no listing of texting info. no time just a date.
12. you cant even foward a message.
13.your contacts arent saved as outgoing message reciepents.

Ao you think it is worth getting this pen?

Office attachment ability, to view.

Now I just prey they fix the "no voice dial over
bluetooth" problem in the next update and this phone will be more awesome than it already is.

Was going to get a HTC TouchPro 2 but I found it
quite laggy. My current BB Storm 9530 is faster than the HTC TP2, but the Droid is quicker than both.
I'll post a review once I use it few days.

looking at themes on the marketplace. I have downloaded a couple but cant figure out how to change the theme or layout. I get the customizing of the 3 pages and have set it up but someone said you can completely change the theme of phone? true?

Is it worth getting this if I have an invisible shield on phone?

Everything pairs fine at first. When I receive a call it interupts fine but when the call is ended the phone will disconect from my A2DP device. Does this happen to anyone else/is there some type of update I can apply to fix this?

Anyone notice it takes much longer to charge with PC/USB as opposed to AC?

Maybe life goes on...but, I absolutely hate the new lock screen. The clock is off-center and the font is just ugly. I am also very disappointed with unlock toggle...the previous one was much more sophiticated in function and aesthetics.

I had my Droid in my bag all day, it was on but resting. I did not use it all day and it had charged all night the evening before. When I tried to use it at 6:30 pm, the battery was nearly dead. This is a dead battery from zero usage. what killed the battery? I know the bluetooth and wifi were turned on, does that kill the battery, even in sleep mode?

Is this worth getting? Any feedback would be appreciated.

There are a number of free programs out there that let you convert movies on your computer into files that can be viewed on your phone (or PSP, ipod, etc..).

- what video formats does the Droid support? and assuming it supports multiple, which seems to be the best quality?

- which specific program is the most recommended to convert these video files? and what settings are needed?

Basically, I (and probably many others) would like to know exactly how to get killer-looking videos onto our killer phone with the killer screen! Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had problems with inadvertently activating the Mute button while on a phone call (from their face touching it)? A few people were complaining about this in another forum - saying they were unintentionally turning the mute feature on while they were talking and then having folks hang up on them when they couldn't hear.

Should a hard cover be gotten for phone?

Should some type of invisible shield be put on face of phone?

What accessories be gotten for phone and where should they be purchased.

I am truly missing my Blackberry Messenger. Does Android carry anything like BB Messenger where you can chat with others without paying text messaging fees? I know other instant messengers like AIM, and Windows and Yahoo are all sent like text messages.

Also was there a manual that came with this phone because my phone didn't come with one. And the tutorial on the phone is one screen which shows you how to open and close the phone. Am I doing something wrong with the tutorial? Was it not loaded correctly on my phone? Do other Droid owners have a full tutorial on their phone?

When I first turn on the Droid in my house, it sees my wireless network and gets all bars. As the minutes pass, the bars disappear and I lose my connection. If I turn the phone off and on, the connection returns. The phone does not fall over to the 3G network when the WiFi fails. Is anyone else noticing this, is there anything I can do?

I don't like the sounds when I turn on the phone since sometimes, I want to turn it on privately. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Is there a foolproof way to scroll on a touch screen instead of opening the items on the screen. Sometimes it works ok, other times, it is very frustrating and reiterates why I don't love touch screens.

I know how to select notification tones for different things but say I don't hear the chime ringing and I miss the text message or didn't hear the phone ring and I am left with a voicemail. Is there a way I can set a reminder beep or tone to alert me 1 or 2 minutes later? I was able to do this on the Voyager but so far, I have not been able to find anything on the Droid that offers this.

I am hoping that a future update would eliminate having to press the power/lock button on top of the phone to unlock the phone out of standby mode. What's the purpose of the slide lock if you have to press the top lock button to wake up the screen? Wish the Droid could wake up from the standby screen just by handling it or gently shaking it.

Phone says "DROID" while charging. Any way to turn this off?

I wanted to use one of the pictures in my gallery as the background wallpaper for my home page.

When I open my gallery and select the picture, it fills the entire screen - perfect! Thats how I want it to look. However when I select SET AS Wallpaper, it makes me crop the picture then it zooms in so far that you can barely see the picture and the quality is horrible!!!! I have it set to SMALL and not large. I played around with the crop but get the same results everytime.

Why would it look good within the gallery but look awful when trying to save as wallpaper?

YAHOO!! I was able to get my Itunes to my Droid. It was so cool. I used a program called Double Twist. It worked great. Has anyone else used this.
