Need help with Menu after cracking screen

I have a C740 that has a cracked screen. I would like to get the pics and other files off that I can but I am not able to screen any of the screen its white with visible leaking crystals. I can use the phone to make and receive calls, so I know the software is working. I just need to know the menu shortcuts to navigate blindly to make sure the USB settings are set to Mass Storage.

Any help would be appreciated.

Matix c740 screen turns white at random times

My other sons matrix's screen will blank out white at random times. Once you reboot the phone its OK for a while.
We have four Matrix phones.
One has a 12 second cut off with calls
One has the above issue
One has a totally white screen all the time.

What's with these phones? I assume the all white screen needs replacing. I saw a list of similar complaints where they referred to the white screen as the "White Screen of Death". Does anyone know what causes this?

My sons phone cuts off any call at 12 seconds. Any ideas?

Just requested this phone as a Warranty exchange

...from my Nokia 9300. I will let you all know what I think of it. Best thing I see so far is that I will be able to downgrade my PDA Connect plan to the Media Net Unlimited package and save $15. Of course, through Warranty, it will be a Refurbished handset, but that doesn't always mean bad.

Phone resets frequenty

My daughter=s C740 continually resets - sometimes every few minutes, sometimes a few times a day. We are on AT@T. When it happens, we get the AT@T splash screen, green 'loading' bar, then the phone works fine.

AT@T support pushed a software update/reset a few days ago from their help desk. No better now. I've reset the phone per the user manual to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Clock Type Settings

One of the clock type settings has two visible clocks, one in my time zone and one two hours behind. How can you customize what the second time zone is? I've looked through the phone and online and I'm yet to find an answer.

no voice dial?

Seriously? I didn't even realize that was a possibility on phones these days, other than the Motorola Z9 which has one that's unusable.

why do the tones only play a few seconds????

heyyy.

kso, i have had the pantech c740 since december 08........and of course i text all the time and i have ringtones that play when someone sends me a text...but when a text comes in...it only plays about 4 seconds of the song when the ringtone is at least 20 seconds long....is there a way to make the ringtone play longer when someone sends me a text??? it REALLY bothers me, since mostly all i do is text and i would like to hear more of the song. 🤭

Are the Matrix's Keyboard Keys any different than the DUO?

I have heard a lot of bad things about the Pantech DUO's Keyboard and I was wondering for all of you that already have a Matrix, if the keyboard is easy to use and if the buttons are raised at all?

MP3's as ringtones

I was wandering if you can make MP3's ringtones on this phone. I have heard you can on the DUO and I was just wanting to know if you could do this on this phone too.

Broken Slider?

I've read in some reviews of the Matrix that after only minor use the slider breaks off. Could anyone who has this phone either support/deny these claims?!

Is a $30 data plan required?

Or can you sign up for a $15 internet package?

Google Maps and Software Update

Has anyone been successful in using the new "My Location" feature in Google Maps mobile with this phone?

Also, is Software Update grayed out for everyone, or just me?

Is there anyone to set individualized ringtones?
