Anyone heard whether this phone will be one of the phones that will be upgradeable to Rev A when it comes out for Sprint?

What's the difference between high memory and low memory opera browser? It didn't have any details when I downloaded it from my pearl. Any info?

the more i use this phone the more it seems like a big piece of s#!+. the video camera doesnt record. when i press record and then stop it and try to play it back it wont play and it wont save the video if i just back out of the app. and then any music i try to play either doesnt show up or a message saying "devise media processor is busy" pops up. what is that? i seriously need help. how do i fix this??

Looking to trade a vx9400 for a VZW Pearl 8130. Could throw in some cash for right deal. The 9400 is in perfect cond. I have extended battery and holster too. Need the Pearl for work and 4 days past my 30 day return. Thanks.

I have noticed that there is no way to delete all call without doing it one by one. Is there a way you can select all and delete?

ive tried pretty much every format i have of music on my computer and nothing will play on this phone! what am i doing wrong!?

i got the phone a few days ago but i cant figure a couple things out so hopefully someone can help me out. first of all i know this is going to sound dumb but i cant get the video recorder to work. i click the scroll ball to start and then to stop it but it doesnt save the video. what should i do? second, what format does music have to be in to play? when i tried playing mine it said "the devise media processor is busy" what does that mean?

Verizon and I confirmed both device and desktop running latest sw edition. Checked all synch settings. Entered a dummy appt on both device and laptop and neither synched. Have it set to dual-synch and confirm changes - worked like a charm now doesn't. V sent me too RIM help but hung-up after waiting 2 hours. V tried themselves today and also hung up after 2 hours. Going to try again business day to contact RIM support. Am still within my phone return period but see nothing else I like on VZW. Have reinstalled desktop sw also. Any remote suggestions as to what might be? V has been great so far but this is my 3rd major problem. Also learned BIS synchs with pop server, not my outlook in-box and hence some misunderstandings. I'm interested in the phone and just had a couple questions.

1) Is GPS and Blackberry Maps disabled, forcing you to sign up for VZ Navigator if you want GPS?

2) Can I use MP3 ringtones, or do I have to get them through Verizon's store?

I'd appreciate any other comments people may have about the UI, but I'm reading Verizon basically kept the Blackberry interface.

first let me tell u i have never owned, played with or done any kind of research on pda/bb phones so i'm going to sound like a newbie at this. from what im reading it sounds like i HAVE TO HAVE a data plan? i cant just transfer my number to this phone and use it on my regular voice/txt plan? does this phone have get it now? would you recommend this phone? thanks for any input it is greatly appreciated

When I took the battery out for literally 5 seconds and put it back in, it cleared my emails, texts, and call log. Is a glitch or is it supposed to happen??

Can anyone tell me exactly which audio and video formats are supported by Verizon's Blackberry Pearl 8130? Can you download video to the SD flash card and watch video on the Pearl? If so, which formats are supported?

Does anyone know of any good (and free) software to rip and convert DVDs to the correct format to view on the Pearl? I've tried both Superconverter and Blackberry Video. No matter what settings I'm using it still won't play after syncing to the device. Please advise.

I've got an IMAP account set up on my 8130. All is well except messages I've read using my email client on my laptop still show up as unread on my phone even after I reconcile.

Is there anyway to fix this? or do I need to be on the blackberry enterprise server?
