LG Voyager VX-10000

Anyone else experiencing problems loading music on their Voyager? I'm using the latest VCAST Music Manager and it shows that all the music is loading (phone is tethered via data cable), but once the sync list is complete, there are songs missing.

The old Verizon application used to run in the system tray, and would correct any 'odd' file names, but I'm not sure the new music manager is doing this. Does anyone have a link to the old Music Manager? You used to be able to pop your card in a SD card reader, and it would auto launch, and correct all the file names in 10 seconds!

Hi everyone. Right now I have the enV which is great. I love the phone. There's nothing wrong with it. I think as of March 30 though I can do an early exception upgrade and I am planning on buying the Voyager. Do you think i should wait for this new Samsung Glyde to come out? Does anyone know of the advantage it would have? Thanks. I'm really looking forward to the Voyager with the browser and everything else on it. Thanks!

I know they are 2 totally different phones, but I am looking to switch to it from the voyager. I am sick of the size of the voyager and the touch screen always freezes and I always hit the wrong numbers when dialing and texting on the external screen. I am also just bored with the voyager. Any one have any opinions on what phone I should switch to? I looking to go with something like the size of the 8700 that has a decent camera and that is a flip phone. Thanks for your help.

I have not updated phone from original sw 03 as my phone has had no problems. Was more concerned about introducing bugs or annoying modifications. However, now there have been two SW updated (07)...are the improvements significant (cpmpared to 03)? Any know issues with 07 yet?

I saw there was a way to make a picture full screen or "FULL" in the "My Pictures" options but it does not allow you to save it to your external screen in full screen mode. Same thing with Rotate. I wanted to take a picture and flip it (Landscape) so it would fill up the whole external screen and that would be my MAIN screen when the phone is in standby mode. I can't get it to work like I want it to so I guess it simply doesn't work. Maybe those options to make a picture full and rotate are for slide shows or something.

But, I have tried it with the web optimized and standard and can't get it to work. If keeps buffering then goes back to the menu. Any suggestions? Thanks

what' wrong with my phone? i happened to take it out of my coat pocket once i got in the store and i can't do ANYTHING with it.

the message "Service Required" is on the front screen and everything is deleted...

Ok, I was one of the ones that said that the body glove case was pretty good. I've noticed that the front part of the case is starting to wear badly. I've only had the case for about 1 1/2 months. There's got to be a better case out there.

Camera seems to work fine, but when I go to My Pictures to view the picture, all I see is a box with an exclamation point... In "options->file info" it says resolution, file and type is none... I also have the same issues with pictures that I put on the memory card from my pc... Videos play fine off the card, but not pictures...

Do I have a wrong resolution setting somewhere...???

I seem to be having a problem with downloading Bitpim to my computer. Keeps coming up with an error code.

THIS APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START BECAUSE MSVCP71.dll WAS NOT FOUND. RE-INSTALLING THE APPLICATION MAY FIX THIS PROBLEM.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same darn error.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please? ☹️

If you open Contacts on the Voyager, (version 07) you will find Alphabetical Sort Tabs at the top. Very nice but not nice enough.
There is room to improve on that.
Selecting any of the Tabs, navigates you to that selected group of contacts. Next step is to finger-scroll to the desire contact which sometimes will "Mark" unwanted selections as you attempt the finger-scroll.

Look at the area at the bottom lower left of a Tab Area. It is Blank! It would be very nice to have a GoTo Selection in this blank area whereby you could refine your search within the Tab Area. Maybe a future UpDate will address that.

This GoTo Selection is used in other areas of the phone so, it is not new to the phone.

Maybe VZW will place that GoTo Sele...

I bought my Voyager used and there is a Mobile Email application installed on it. I tried to delete it but it tells me "License not found. Insert the card used to download this app."

Any ideas on how to delete it?

when i go to the browser i go to menu, then "go to www" then type in "www.myspace.com" this used to give me the actual version of it but now it gives me the mobile version. it used to give me the beta version but it had an option to go to the real version of it. the mobile version dosent have that option and i dont know how to get my myspace back to the way it was. can anyone help me out?

hey, whenever my voyager starts to run out of battery the "low battery" icon appears...

how do i turn that off??

cause..it wont stop re-appearing..once all the backlight on the phone turns off, the "low battery" icon pop up again like 5mins later..and eventually my phone just shut off cause that icon keeps poping up.. any help?

Does anyone know how to clear out the T9 vocabulary? I bought the Voyager from someone who had some words in there that interfere w/what im trying to type. For example, when I try to type a ☹️ ... it gives me "(619 " which is probably a number they had used before.

Has anyone else noticed that the front screen/wallpaper pulsates or flickers when its bright? It appears that my phone just started doing that...not really bad but noticeable.

Has anyone experienced this problem? When i go to my pictures and try to send one of my pictures to MY PIX PLACE my phone shuts off. This is what i do i go to "My Pictures" select a picture then go to "options" "send" "2. To PIX Place" once i tap ont the "To PIX Place" it shuts my phone off and then comes back on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
