LG Voyager VX-10000

i was wondering what the plans are regarding this. i currently have the Q with the 40.00 unlimited internet. how does the voyagers plans work?

p.s. is there an application that retrieves mail, a la outlook/mail.app?

how do you access your buddies away message with out sending them a message? any help would be great. i accessed the aim mobile website but nothing there.

I think I want this phone, and need to get something soon as my trusty moto e815 is in the twilight of its life. I need a phone with great reception, which is why I kept the moto for so long. How does the reception on the voyager compare?

My phone has decided to not let me send pictures to Pix Place. It has worked for the last two months. Now it doesn"t. Any ideas?

how come the specs say 850mhz? i thought it as 800mhz 🙂

well anyway, i'm moving back to mongolia and i want to take the phone with me. can this phone be unlocked and used on a foreign carrier?

The Voyager must be a pretty good phone? I hasn't been out to long and the questions and complaining are very slim. I myself love the phone and only have a few complaints about touchscreen and in contacts (groups) have to send to all in group as other phones I could choose which contacts to send to in that group. Like I said its getting boring here, but thats probably good as I think the phone is great.

I just exchanged a Blackberry 8830 (VZW) for the LG Voyager. And I have to say web surfing on the Voyager sucks!
All the reviews I read about the Voyager were good, so I figured the masses couldn't be wrong. Lesson learned, if it ain't a smartphone,PDA, Blackberry it just won't have the processing power for a PC like web browsing experience.
And for whatever reason the Voyager can barely hold onto a EV DO connection at home . Where as that's all the 8830 had.
I wonder if they still have MY 8830?

Is there a way to save the font settings for texting in the internal screen? Everytime I set it to large, it's back to small on the next text.

My Voyager arrived yesterday & as I was going through the features, I noticed a dead pixel on the touch screen; left center. 😢 It's barely noticeable in the light, but when its dark....BAM, there it is. I'm wondering if VZW would allow a return due to this or if they have marked this as as acceptable flaw; or should I just accept it? I mean afterall...I ONLY paid about $350 for this phone. 🙄

Has anyone else experienced dead pixel(s) with their Voyager??

I received my voyager off of a preorder on launch day.. got the v05 update when it came out, and haven't been back. a buddy of mine just got a voyager and has v07... I was just wondering if it breaks the ability to use bitpim for ringers... anyone? 😕

I am bout to get this phone but am confused. I hear people saying this phone dont have a address book. But it does have a contacts list??? Whats the difference, thats not the same? Please explain what is meant by this....

I have seen a ton of things that the iphone can do including being able to be used as remote control in home theater - controlling everything from the projector to the dvd player right on the phone. Additional software was added in order to do this obviously. So I was wondering besides the internet, vcast and mobileTV and navigation can our Voyagers do anything else like the iphone can do? I know we can play videos and movies via the microSD card too.

I am pretty happy with the phone so far. I do see what people mean when they say the ringer volume is low. I can barely hear it sometimes and I have it on max.

has anyone gotten any streaming radio staion on the voyager through the net. it would seem practicall since its a full html browser that streams youtube with sounds and video, i saw a freind do it on a treo 650 for like winamp or something. do yo think you can stream internet radio stations like that? i just found out i could stream the m.youtube site through my whole system(audio) using stereo bluetooth its gotta be awesome to get internet stations on a stereo or headset let me know if im just dreaming too much. just seemed possible.

I remember that b4 this phone came out, one of the features it had was that it could record a phone call for up to 5 minutes or so.

Does any1 know how to record a phone call on the Voyager?

OK so I know the Samsung Glyde isn't out yet but which of the two phones would you get? I mean from the looks of it, the Glyde has almost the same features the Voyager does. I can't wait to get the Voyager, but I want to know what everyone else here thinks. Is everyone happy w/ their Voyager so far? I hope so. lol. Thanks for the input!

I thought it was possible to change the theme of your Navigator. I have version 3.1.4 Build 240. When I go into Options, the Preferences, I do not have that option. I checked for upgrades and it said I have the most current version.

Sorry if this has been asked or whatnot. I was trying to go on youtube last night from my voyager. It wouldnt load up the videos. I am usually pretty good with phones,technology and such. but couldnt figure anything out. any answers would be greatly appreciated 🙂

whenever you watch mobile tv does it use the kb/mb?
