Force Lollipop update on MotoG 2nd?

Is there a way to foce the 2nd gen Moto G to update to Lollipop? Doing an update on the phone (Settings / About / System Updates) reports the phone is up to date, however it's stuck on Android 4.4.4.

galaxy s5, by contrast with droid 3, likes a beast!

My last phone Droid 3 had really big issues with the battery. I am a heavy user and my current Galaxy S5 last around 20hrs and with 8200mah mpj extended battery it’s around 2 days, but the Droid 3 only last half day using similar data. It drains so fast that I need to charge it twice a day and went down to 45% in 5 hours without any usage. The Samsung galaxy s5, by contrast, likes a beast!

Motorola Triumph after 1.5 years

Hello folks, anyone still stand by this phone?Smile I keep this Motorola Triumph as one of my basic phones.

Yes, it is old and has been used 1.5 years, but I still love it! Okey, my only problem is after years of using this, my stock battery is unable to hold any charge. So I was tracking down a new battery for several days and MPJ caught my attention. For17 bucks I can’t find any other else with namebrand, anyway not a big investment, so I ordered this. Recevied the pack last month and I am pretty pleased with it right now. The difference to the old stock battery(remind you it was 1.5 years old) was very clear— less than1 day for stock and 2.5 days for new battery on moderate usage. I cant quarantee the mpj one is better than a brand n...

How do I Unlock a V600?

What is the best method to unlock a new V600?

I have seen a number of websites offering to generate unlock codes.

Are any of these reliable?

Is there a risk in giving out the information this way?

Finally, after receiving this code, what is the process to actually unlock the phone?

Thanks in advance!

Motorola Atrix HD

Can someone tell me how to sync all my music under one application? I have some under Amazon MP3 and some under the Google Play Music App. When I purchase from one or the other, they do not always sync to each other.
Thanks,

Motorola and Verizon

Anyone wonder why Motorola has been exclusive to Verizon as of the past 18 months or so? Sure they make one or two phones for a couple of other carriers, but pretty much 95% of their phones go exclusively to Verizon.

Not sure why Google/Moto would want to limit their distribution channel to only one carrier. I would have figured they would focus more on AT&T and T-Mo making GSM phones since they could sell them to the rest of the world easier, but it's not the case. I would think they would want to get Moto to all the major carriers since that would be more sales for them.

I haven't figured out any good reason why Google would be working exclusively with Verizon, but I'm thinking Motorola was better off before Google took them over ...

Motorola signal strength

I've heard that Motorola holds an advantage in antenna technology and, because of that, Motorola smartphones get better reception than do their competitors, even in low-coverage areas. Any truth to that?

Motorola Razr2 V8 Bootloader Error

Hi everyone! I’m new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a 2G Motorola razr2 v8 that was in storage for about two years.
I decided to use it the other day and it displays Bootloader error on power up.

Specifically, it displays…
Bootloader
A3.CF
Err: A5,6935,2c
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Using RSD Lite version 5.6, I flashed the phone with file R601_G_80.56.15R_A3CF_bootloader.sbf
Once completed, RSD Lite results screen said it passed.
However, the phone still goes to the Bootloader Error on powerup.

Does anyone have any idea what the fix is for this problem?
