Hi everyone! I’m new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a 2G Motorola razr2 v8 that was in storage for about two years.
I decided to use it the other day and it displays Bootloader error on power up.

Specifically, it displays…
Bootloader
A3.CF
Err: A5,6935,2c
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Using RSD Lite version 5.6, I flashed the phone with file R601_G_80.56.15R_A3CF_bootloader.sbf
Once completed, RSD Lite results screen said it passed.
However, the phone still goes to the Bootloader Error on powerup.

Does anyone have any idea what the fix is for this problem?

I guess I bricked my phone. I spoke with Motorola via an online chat session and they were no help at all. There said that I needed to take out the battery and then put it back in. Like I didn't think of that already, duh. Their support people are idiots. I have been a PBX TDM/ VoIP phone tech for over 20 years. I know there is a fix for this but finding out how is like trying to steal gold from Ft Knox. I have found the problem with forums like this is that once a person discovers a solution they will generally not go back to their computer to post a solution. If I ever figure this out I will post the fix right here for the world to see. Wish me luck!
