I'm thinking of getting this phone for my husband. Any feedback on the phone would be appreciated.

I have had my Vx 7000 for 2 days so far. And in comparison with the samsung a670 the camera is MUCH darker indoors even with the flash. For you guys that have the vx 7000 did u notice that also? Another thing i noticed is the colors are slightly different when in camera mode as opposed to video mode, whats with that? Im wondering if my phone has a faulty camera or something.

I loved my LG phone, simple to use great reception. Only one thing I hated about it was the charger I used to have to play with it to get the damn phone to charge, I knew this issue happened to 3 other people with an LG until they got one with a base charger, the charger the plugs into the side or bottom.

Also the Battery life on them was horrible the phone itself would only stay charged 24 hours no matter how much usage was done one the device, the same with other people that had the device.

Will the vx7000 be discontinued to make way for the 8000? If so how much longer will VZW carry the 7000. I need to know because I want to know if I should pay retail for the 7000.

Loaded in contacts to my new VX8000 today, and was rather surprised that each contact group -- family, business, etc. -- maxes out at 10 people. Anyone else have this experience and/or know of a way to override this "10 max" limit? I've got more than 10 members to my extended family alone! Many thanks...

The little stem inside the charge hole broke off due to someone trying to connect the wrong charger to my LG lx5450. Is there anyway to charge the phone from the data port?

I just got the LG4500 phone and when I shut down I get this picture of a chicken hatching from a egg.How do I deleate this pic.I have tried everything.

Infocenter is saying this phone is coming soon but I can't find any info on here about it... it looks just like the 4700 but with out the two way and its trimode anyone have info on the phone?

On Verizon's packaging on a charger for the LG 6100 and 4700 it lists that it will fit the vx3200, vx3300, vx4650, vx5200, vx6300, vx7000, vx8000, vx8100. It looks like the 4650 will be the same as the 4700 just without the push to talk and the 3300, 8100 and possibly the 5200 will be out sometime this summer - but I have not heard of the the 6300 at all. Has anyone else heard or found any info on this phone??????

I own a 4400 and about to buy new (likely a 6100 or a 7000, maybe 8000 if I'm feeling spry) and the only bad thing about the 4400 is that headset buttons don't work on it... I still have to flip open the phone to hang up.

Please tell me this "feature" is not on the newer LG phones.

I have a LG L1400 and since I have purchased this phone, about 2 months ago, every now and then, I will get a red arrow pointing up on the right side of my screen. I have taken it the the Cingular service and they didn't know either.
Let me see if I can describe this arrow...

It' on the right side, just above the month. It's got 3 lines and then the arrow up above it....

It's similar to that, except the arrow is wider and the lines underneath are closer together. This is not all the time, just every now and then. Can someone please tell me what this is? It's not in the handbook I got either!

ive just uploaded 2 30 sec. songs on my new phone from freeringers.net . Witch i though by the way had songs already to go for down load.. but after sing up found out that you have to make your own . Anyway i put two songs in and i want to take them out and ive looked through every menu option and didnt see how to remove them.... So any ideas or did i have a brain fart....

I am wondering which phone is the better one. Either the VX6100 or the VX4500 ?. I understand the phone is not the greatest, but that is not a determining factor in choice. thx for the iput. 🙂

When I plug my LG VX8000 into my windows xp machine. It says that it finds a cp2101 usb to uart bridge controller and it needs drivers for it.

Is this suppose to happen?
All the LG drivers do not work.

I currently have T-Mobile Service (and a Motorola V300 phone) and plan on switching to Verizon. My contract expires mid-April and T-Mobile coverage in my area is sketchy at best. With the new provider comes a new phone. I've been checking out this website diligently for the past month or so and I know that I will receive sound advice so here goes ... I am interested in a phone with the following {mandatory} features: excellent reception, speaker, calendar, and voice dailing. Dual displays and a camera are preferred. (I don't use the camera on my V300 too much, but it's nice to have for those unexpected moments). Any suggestions anyone might have out there would be appreciated.

i'm thinking about upgrading from my VX6000 but would like to not have to re-enter all my phone numbers (almost 300). is it possible to use Bitpim to sync the numbers to *any* new model(s)?

first off i love this phone 😁 . so glad i switched from nextel. the recepion is the best i have had in a long time. ok, now my questions.

1. can you add words to the t9 dictionary?, and how many are you able to add.

2. i have read about sending ringtones via vpix. i notice that i can send them as mp3 and they play great. but i cant save them. i can send them as mid, save them, but they sound horrible. am able to send wav, but thy dont play.

3. i have noticed when receiving pix mgs. they always fail. i have to open the phone, goto mgs, goto the new msg. and receive the image.

if anyone can help that would be great.. im also going to post this in a few other places

I originally owned a VX 4400 and I loved the phone...Only problem I had was that the address book did not enter names in alphabetical order. I now have an Audiovox 8910, and I really don't like it. I just don't get the signal clarity that I did with my LG. Do the current LG phones enter the contacts alphabetically? Which phone is recommended? I have been looking at the 4500, which has an external speaker for the ringer, which I really like. I barely hear my phone now...
