Extended Life for LG 6100 ?

Trying to find either the OEM Extended Life Batt. for the LG 6100 or a "good" comparable product. All the links here at phone scoop seem to just show the original OEM, not extended... any good links you can help me with appreciated.

Lgvx 7000 desktop charger?

Hello, I am considering upgrading to the LG7000 over my current LG6000 but dislike the fact that there is no desktop charger for the 7000 at least not one that I have been able to locate. Does anyone know where I might find one if they are indeed available for this model? Any other input that might influence my decision would also be appreciated...such as quirks that might have arisen with the new 7000 model. Thanks in advance for any input recieved.

VX7000 USB Driver???

I just picked Mobile Action USB Data Cable MA-8032P from in NY. This is a new USB cable that is suppose to be compatible with the Black version of VX7000 from Verizon. The CD that came with it doesn't have the driver for the VX7000. Anyone else encounter similar problem with this cable. Is there a generic USB Driver for the VX7000 that will work and if so where can I get it.

LG VX-8100 w/ bluetooth!

I don't know how valid this is, but the folks over @ have posted that LG is coming out with a updated 8000. respectively called the 8100, the only difference, is that it has bluetooth! very exciting! now does that mean that no ones gonna buy the LG VX-8000? HOPEFULLY the bluetooth on it isn't limited or crippled as its become to be known as, in the VZW world. Lets all take a moment to pray.... »

Text message weirdness

Using my VX6100 for sending a text message, I look in 'Message Info' in that Outbox message and usually see:

Status: Message delivery success
Error: None
Cause: OK

But for other messages I'll see:

Status: Message delivery incomplete
Error: None
Cause: OK

Sometimes when I see this, my recipient has received my message and sometimes not. These are all standard SMS messages, under 160 chars, no graphics or pix or sounds. The Outbox icon that I see for these 'incomplete' msgs (an envelope with a red arrow) indicates SENT: "Messages saved in Short Message Center have been transmitted" rather than an envelope held by a hand which means DELIVERY: "Message has been delivered", according to p. 60 of the User Guide.

I can send a m...

VX4600 Shutting Down

Evil or Very Mad Long post.

Ok. I have an LG 4600 cell phone. I've only had the phone for a few months and have had problems with it ever since I got it. The phone shuts down frequently. It doesn't seem to matter if the phone has a full charge or not. As a matter of fact, sometimes it shuts itself off while it's on the charger. To restart the phone, I have to take the battery out and put it back it. Simply hitting the power button will not power it back up. Within a week of getting the phone, this problem surfaced. My local Verizon dealer ordered a replacement LG 4600 for me, but the same problems have continued with this replacement. And I'm under a 2-year agreement with Verizon to keep this phone.

Today, I phoned LG CS and they said...

Another Bluetooth for Sprint

Ok I know about the LG PM-325 but according to some of the people at Sprints' stores there are two other bluetooth enabled phones being released in the coming months. What I know so far is that one is by Samsung and is supposed to be out by the end of the month and the other is another LG, this time a flip phone, will be out soon after. Does anyone know anything about these phones or any other bluetooth phones in the works for sprint? I want a bluetooth phone but with the PM-325 being their first step I want to see whats coming before I run out and buy the first phone I see.

Thanks for any info

Another new 6100 owner..first cell ever

Hello all,

Nice to see this forum. I am 34yo and just got a 6100's for wife and I. Being a first time cell owner I have been reading a ton on this forum and learning new tricks. Wink

After someones thread about Bitpim and cdex I went out and picked up the verizon usb driver/cord pack and have made a few custom ringtones. My father in law loves to save EVERYTHING so his is Sanford and son

I recently called the local VWS and asked about the V02 update and the tech there said to check back on this thursday when shipments come in..they might have it.

One thing I wish was a bit nicer with the phone is the camera resolution (but yeah..its a phone not a camera) is a bit foggy.

I wish there was a GOOD website with mor...

I know this was discussed earlier but I'm starting a fresh thread to hopefully flush out others who may not be aware of yet another problem with this phone.

You will eventually come to find that once the LOW BATTERY BEEP is heard, plugging the phone into either charger (cigarette OR wall), will not stop the phone from shutting down in approx. 1 to 2 minutes, even though it is indicating that it is charging. To make things worse, immediately after plugging into a charger, the call quality will deteriorate to the point that the phone will be rendered nearly useless.

LG and Verizon both claim that they have had no complaints about this but I have read here about several others having this problem. I have two 6100s and both of them have th...

4500 email retrieval problem.

Rolling Eyes My husband set up his voice mail on his cell phone. Now, he forgot what password he put in and it won't allow him to check the messages. We have tried all the numbers that we think he would have used and nothing seems to work. The messages are piling up! Does anyone know how to change a password to the voicemail?
