I've been through the forums but couldn't find anything on this topic, nor on the vendors with accessories linked from Phonescoop. Has anybody been able to find an adapter that changes a mini-USB plug (Motorola, Blackberry, etc) to Samsung's charger plug for the Blackjack, Sync, etc? I travel a lot and would rather not pack two separate chargers for my Motorola headset (mini-USB) and another for my Blackjack.

Is there any way on the Samsung SGH-E840 to remove the operator logo I have some pictures of my girlfriend and the logo goes streight across her face can any one help

I find that the T9 option for text messaging causes every word to begin with a capital. I am trying to find out how to change this option so that it will only capitalize the first letter of the first word of a new sentence. Is there an option that can be set for this?

Anyone have problems with the MIT supplied calculator???

It seems to have problems with percentages.

I enter 100-10% then press = and I get 99.9
or 100+10%=100.1

If I enter 100-1000% then press enter. I get the correct answer 90.?.

Is it me or is there a problem??

RadioShack got a flyer today about a samsung "hue." thin flip phone with removable face plates, 1.3 mp camera with video capabilities, mp3 player, micro sd slot, bluetooth, T9 text capability, and celltop ready. looks super small. keypad looks almost too small, and the screen size is only 220 x 176 pixels = just over 2 inches.

my text messages are piling up on my phone and there are a lot that i would like to save, is there any way to transfer those text messages to my computer? i've heard people suggest emailing them to yourself, but my samsung t-509 won't let me do that when i hit send... it says 'not a valid entry'

any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I have a Apple Mac (an iMac). In the a990 description they mention software for a variety of things.

Question:
Is all that software usable/runnable by my iMac? Or is it PC/Windows software?

(1) Does the A990 show the caller's picture when a call comes through? If so, does it show the picture ID on the exterior or interior display?

(2) I would like to do Voice calling on the phone as well as with my BlueTooth. So: What is the procedure for getting names into the Phone Book for the purpose of being able to just SAY the name when initiating a call?

i own a d600...just purchased a 1GB memory card..but i dont know where put it... took the battery out but nothing other than simcard slot...

I've used Samsung PC Studio 3 via USB cable to connect to the Sync and browsed the internet before leaving on vacation.
Everything worked perfectly. Upon arriving in Spokane, Washington, I cannot connect. I stopped in a Cingular store for help, and they said it should work. My Sync shows full on the signal strength, and it is selected USB, "PC Studio" in the Connections menu.
The only difference that I can see is that here in Spokane, my phone displays an "E" instead of the "3G" (I think) when I was home in Atlanta. I've checked the properties of the Sync in the Network Connections, and it's Dialing: *99**1*1#

I know, I know... one is a slider and the other a flip phone, but is anyone here knowledgable enough on these phones to say whether or not the u620 would cut it compared to the VX8600? I would like to try out a slider for my new phone but I want to make sure it's going to be a capable enough of a phone. The reason for this particular comparison is that I was previously shopping for a VX8600. The only advantage it has over the 8600 that I can think of is a real speakerphone. I'm not gonna be using the TV function but I don't have much of a selection through Verizon when it comes to slider phones.

Also, I think it's been covered that it's still possible to create your own ring tone...

I just purchased a Samsung A707 (Sync) and i was wondering if there was any way to get the front or outer display to stay lit longer than 10 seconds before going completly black. Any other phone i had would stay on but just keep the display dimmed. Please help!

Is there anywhere or way I can download a specific tone that came from a Samsung E-315? It was a sound for text messages that came on the phone when it was released a couple of years ago. Any help at all is appreciated.

I have a Samsung X-820 and see in the specs (even on phonescoop) that it supports SyncML.

Can any one guide me on how this feature can be used on the said phone. I do not see any thing in the menus that I can set to Sync with our groupware server which provides SyncML support.
