Verizon Wireless Customers....Look Out!

I have been eligible for an upgrade with Verizon since summer 2010 but haven't done so because I didn't see any phones that were worth it. My "official" contract with Verizon has long since expired. I've been waiting for either the HTC Thunderbolt or the Motorola Droid Bionic but, as we can all see, we're being jerked around on a release date - purely to pad Verizon's pockets, I'm sure. Anyway, I just got a call from Verizon, who GRACIOUSLY offered me $40 off my bill if I would commit to a 2 year contract - with no upgraded phone. Wow! Are they kidding? They must think all their customers are flat-out stupid. I responded to their gracious offer with "now why would I commit to another 2 years with Verizon, without upgrading to a new ph...

Sprint to Start Accepting Food Stamps

Sprint executives, after polling their user-base, have decided to roll out a new payment option that they hope will help reduce the number of delinquent accounts and customers being turned off by high deposits.

Starting January 9th, 2011, customers will be able to pay for wireless services with food stamps in-store only.

Sprint has justified this new payment policy by stating that some of their eco-friendly messaging devices are made from corn-based bio-plastic.

High-resolution Android phones in 2011?

It's phone replacement time and I already have an 800 x 480 phone, so I am looking for 960 x 640 or better for my next phone. Much to my dismay, there is very little out there. The only ones listed on Phone Scoop are from Motorola. Initial rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S2 listed it with higher resolution, but now it looks like it's only 800 x 480, which is silly for a new top-end phone. Does anyone know of other hi-res Android phones coming out this year?

EVO coming to ATT!

You heard it here first! The true reason that Sprint cannot provide enough HTC Evo phones to their customers is that HTC is producing a GSM version for ATT! HTC knows that Sprint can't sell a phone, so now it's up to ATT to make 4G known!
iPhone fans shall cower in fear, as the greatest phone in the WORLD comes to dominate their network! 4.3 inch screen, two cameras, faster processor... the iPhones will be choking on lag when the Evo is around!
And, the best part, is the Evo for ATT will the LTE-ready for when the real 4G network premiers.

So, save your upgrades, and if you're not with ATT you'd might as well switch now. The Evo is coming!

Sprint making BIG announces with David Blane Feb. 7th?!!!

What's this? An invitation-only event with Sprint CEO Dan Hesse in New York City on Feb. 7? And illusionist David Blaine's going to be there, too? Count us in. Heck, we don't even care if there's any Android fare to be found (though it'd be a nice plus). OK, OK. We care about Android fare. And so we'll pack our bags for NYC and report back. Cause that's what we do.

Why Verizon will NOT get the iPhone in 2011 despite all of the reports.

AT&T's exclusivity agreement with Apple expires in 2012.

Apple Developing New, Smaller, Cheaper iPhone To Fight Android Read more: http://www.businessinside

http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-working-on-smal ... »

Apple's cheaper phone would be a third smaller than the iPhone 4, and cost around $200 unlocked, which means users don't have to sign up for a two year contract at wireless carrier to get the phone for cheap.

What so you guys think? Is it a viable move by Apple to defend/expand their market share?

Anyword on the iPhone 4 for US Cellular?

Has anyone heard if US Cellular will be picking up the iPhone 4? Now with a CDMA version for Verizon, and the fact that Verizon doesn't have exclusivity, it would seem natural for US Cellular to add the iPhone as well.

If anyone has heard anything, or has any idea when it could happen, I'm all ears. I'd love to use US Cellular if possible, but if not, may go with Verizon.

Verizon to purchase FCC

As a result of national debt, the average corporation now has the money to purchase federal entities, as evidenced by Verizon's top-secret discussions of purchasing the FCC and using their new power to control the cellular industry.

Verizon plans to simultaneously interrupt the signals of all of their cellphone subscribers at once, causing the average cellphone user, along with several government entities, to call Customer Care and whine for several hours. During this masterful distraction, Verizon will make their purchase, and be one step closer to cellular domination.

However, this is not a move of evil; in fact, it is a move made out of love for the American people. Verizon will create regulations that force all cellular carriers to...

Cell phone users ranked smartest in the nation.

According to an inside source on a top secret organization that conducts research and surveys because they are hopeless nerds who are bored in life, people who use cell phones have higher IQs than their non-cell user counterparts. According to the source, texting, talking, and browsing the web on our cell phones stimulates our brains and actually makes us smarter. The organization released a top secret published statement calling for the government to mandate that people use cell phones everyday to ensure that our children will be smarter than everyone else's.

SPRINT iPHONE!!!!!!

Yes, you heard it here FIRST. Apple is making a CDMA iPhone and will be releasing it by April 2011.

The entire phone will be carved out of one large diamond. The touchscreen is psychic; as soon as you THINK about touching something, the phone responds. It waives its own upgrade and activation fees. If you're about to go over your spending limit, it turns into a fireball so you can't use it. You will never have to call customer service because it will never fail you. In fact, Steve Jobs' brain now lives in a vat full of jello, tended by Sprint iPhones. They've taken over Infinite Loop and intend to conquer California by the end of the year.

sprints new 686 to be able to withstand under water for extended times

Sprint announced a new i686 motorola phone that can be under water for up to 2 weeks. This way fish can place orders for new equipment on your account.

Also in related news, the vendor of those reliable water indicators has come up with a new indicator that can automatically know if there is any moisture in the air and auto change as a result.

This will save repair centers the problem of explaining how salt water damage could of occured when the customer lives in Wyoming.

due to the interference of those who beleive in truth in advertising it would appear the claim of 4g instead of 1/10 of 4 g is going to have to go away. So we will now have to pull a new wonki speed gauge out to wow our customers and avoid tellint the truth.
