peteacher

I currentlyn have tmobile and looking to switch to another carrier. Is verizon worth it? Is the high rate plans worth it's money? Why should I switch to vzw??

b/c we're the best, yay . . . ๐Ÿ‘€

if the phones tickle you, the coverage is good in your area, and your family/friends have VZ, thereby lowering your monthly minutes, go for it.

If you travel internationally frequently and want to use your phone while doing so, stick with GSM.

Coming from Tmo (GSM) to Vz (CDMA) I'm pretty sure you will notice the diff in call clarity between the two. If you're picky as me when it comes down to clarity on your calls, then you should stick with T-Mo. Why are you thinking about leaving Tmo? Tmo will always be my second choice for wireless. I had them for a year and never had any problems in my main metropolitan city.

why do people make blanket statements like that. Their reception is great in allot of areas. Here in Eastern NC it sucks. Why they don't have enough towers up and still rely on extended network way too much. It depends on were you live and what you want in a phone period!!!

Instead of them, power up with Sprint! We offer our nights and weekends starting at 7pm for free on our Power Pack as well as the our Power Pack Family plans, give up to $150.00 towards the purchase of a new wireless handset after having the same one for 22 months with a 2 year contract renewal, give unlimited text messages to just about anyone for a low as $10.00 and have the largest and fastest broadband wireless data network in the country.

Sprint has roaming agreements with over 30 wireless carriers in the US. Verizon Wireless only gives 14 days to test drive their products and services before you're bound by their 2 year contract. We give 30 days.

I'm giving my input because so many customer's aren't even aware of the advantages of Sprint. Sprint may be a PCS only wireless carrier, but as I stated previously, all our CDMA handsets are at least digital dual band and able to roam off the PCS network with other wireless carrier with whom Sprint has an RA in place. We give excellent customer service in our stores as well as kiosks.

You are right. But stop and think before you all make statements like they are the best. They might be were you have it but what if he lives somewhere verizon isn't even at. Or like my area just started and is not up to par like in most of their areas? Why don't people just ask what they are looking for in a phone IE voice data blue tooth capability. Instead of just saying verizon is the best. I agree they are great but lacking in many areas of the country. And in some of those areas you need to look at the overall picture! I am so tired of hearing they are the best. If that were the case everywhere they would have allot more then 60+ million subscribers.

Advantages of Sprint? ASIDE from their crappy reception, FOREIGN call reps that don't even comprehend your problem, much less find the place on their script to rebuttal? And the CS? Please. Be proud, but realistic. Don't damage lives by attempting to champion a drowning corporation.

as far as sprint having the largest and fastest network in the states, thats a complete lie. i went into a spring store the other day and asked where their pc cards work, and they said everywhere. the rep couldn't even be honest enough to tell me that service is not available everywhere and those of you who know what i'm talking you know that sprint's network sucks enough on voice so how much worse could it be on their pc cards.

Stop on over and I can just about gaurantee you for every point you mention about Verizon Wireless, I'll have at least two for Sprint.

Rememeber, Sprint is the only national wireless carrier that:
1. has the largest and fastest broadband network
2. has the largest, quickest response and international walkie talkie service
3. offers the greatest amount of GPS solutions for a wide range of industries
4. offers unlimited nights and weekends started at 7 pm for free on the Power Pack and Power Pack Family plans
5. offers unlimited incoming minutes for free on the Free Incoming plans
6. offers up to $150 off the retail price of a handset once you have had the same one for 22 months with a 2 year contract extension.
7. offers up to $75 ...

๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿคฃ tough job, they're losing alot to ME as I still have Sprint, and dog them ALL THE TIME while working for VZW. Because Sprint sucks in my area, and most of my custies have no notion of a NATIONAL network, merely a strong local one. Don't scream national to me, if Sprint can even get HALF the coverage VZ does in rural IL, I'm game.

O yea, that 'street level coverage' thing Sprint has? Yea, don't believe it. It SUCKS. (read not accurate)

but, but, but . . . for every RED thing sold, Sprint will take a cut (miniscule, yea, but they're so concerned about AIDS ๐Ÿคฃ ) of their already flagging profit and send it to AIDS relief.

Strange how the price of the RED stuff is higher than the other products.

if you wanna make an aids donation, go through an actual website.

raycarroll70, isn't you posting a link to Sprint's website a violation of the TOU?
