V600... When is it coming out???!!! I've been patiently waiting!

Okay... first I read that it was coming out on the 9th, then I read that it was due on the 16th... I checked ATT's website and no dice. I called Customer Care and still no dice and they have no clue as to when it's due other than "soon". Can someone please put my restlessness to ease here? I really would just like some sort of an accurate date so that I am not checking the website every 10 minutes in hopes. I have been waiting for this phone for a long time, I really hope it is all that it is cracked up to be.

7pm n/w

Heard from a trainer today, that 7pm n/w times are supposed to start on 03/06/04.

The details seem to be the same: free for plans $59.99 and higher, and a nominal monthly fee for the rest.

More details as they become available and/or change.

Attorney Roger Ellis Files Class Action Lawsuit Against AT&T Wireless

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW, AT&T? A class action lawsuit by the Law Offices of Roger R. Ellis of Westlake Village, California and against AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE - News) was filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court and on behalf of all allegedly defrauded AT&T Wireless customers in California. The class action alleges, numerous offenses. First, AT&T Wireless has used false and deceptive advertising to bait customers with one plan and then, intentionally, switches customers to other more expensive and intentionally confusing plans without their knowledge or consent. Second, AT&T Wireless is allegedly double billing customers when family shared lines should not be billed at all! Unresponsive customer servic...

Return policy question

For all the AT&T reps out there I had a question to ask. Cingular's return policy states that "The price you pay for your wireless phone is based upon your activation of service with Cingular Wireless. If service is not activated and your phone is not returned as noted above, you will be charged for the full price of the phone." I was wondering if this was the same for . I was thinking of signing up for AT&T when the Motorola v600 came out, but I already have another phone I can use for AT&T. I was gonna get a rate plan WITH the v600, but I was gonna unlock the v600 and give that to my friend to use with T-Mobile, and I was gonna use Moto MPx200 with my service. Will I be eventually charged full price for the phone because I used a different...

Need Expert Advice on ATT, V600, Cingular PLEASE...

I'm almost in your shoes... I'm going crazy trying to pick a phone and service, so here's my question for you/ all, I'd really appreciate some expert input:

I'm a not yet a sub for either cing or att right now - I'm thinking of going with the T616 thru cingular b/c I really want a hot phone SOON as well as the conveience of BT, AND ATT is not so great in Western NY right now. Then I'd just wait a while for the v600 for cingular to come out (I'll buy it out right). I would imagine that any tic tac problems encountered with the newer ATT version would be worked out by the time it hit Cing?

Any thoughts? Besides, do I want an ATT branded phone that could be on Vodafone or Cingular in a year? How would a merger affect service, branding, c...

I had to dial the backdoor 800 number and not even the good one, just the 800 555 TELL because I don't remember the REAL backdoor number as it just looks like a random number.

Alpha Tag's and the MLife National Plan

Just a question for all you other AWS reps who supposedly know it all, if the alpha tag is such a good indicator of coverage then why are we constantly told through training and other sources that the customer should never use this. Just because your afraid that the cust might get a little upset at having to refer to a map doesnt mean that you should give them bad info. Do the job that you are paid to do.

The "Same 12 people" ,.

I can not believe the same "12 people" are at it again.
Don't you people have lives? Not only that you people are Dull! Are you "12 people" still sharing that one brain cell? Your banter sure sounds like it.
Why don't you give the other 20 million a chance to voice themselves.
You know people there are other "forums" that people attempt to use their "whole brain" but to bad this forum isn't.
ATTW deserves to be taken over or/merge.

The coverage area for the mLife National plan

The coverage area for the mLife National plans is defined solely by the map specifically a mLife National customer recieves no roaming or LD charges from within their HCA (which on the maps is all of the "orange" or "gold" colored area). Previous mentions of "on-net" descriptions have been misleading when taken literally. The alpha tags are not a consistent measure of billing area. While the customer experience is usually consistent when the alpha tag reads "AT&T" or "Roam", there are exceptions. Also, as has always been the case with the "Extended Area", this alpha tag is a very inconsistent proxy for billing areas from market to market on the National Network plans. The best resource for determining when a customer is "home" and when they ...
