I am a victim of a scam involving Western Union. Unbeknown to me, Western Union doesn't require any ID of any kind if you know the money transfer number. The scammer had me wire the money to myself via Western Union and then send him a coy of th transaction number to verify that I indeed had the funds available to make the purchase. Since I transfered the funds to my OWN NAME I did n't think there was any problem.

The scammer has a MetroPCS number and I'm trying to get the name and/or address for the police to investigate. This was their idea as they would require a warrant to get this information if I couldn't provide it for them. Luckily, the phone number and the funds were both picked up in my state.

Since Nokia is one of my favorite brands for phones I would like to know if anybody here knows when a good Nokia phone(like the 6265) is coming out for Metro PCS? Motorola's are good but not the best on Battery life.

The new krzr is finally out, and it's selling at $359. Super expensive but then again... it has quite a lot of features. It's in black for metro. Also, the razr v3m is out in silver and in a burgundy/reddish color, selling cheaper than the razr v3c, $259 compared to $299

i want to buy my friend a phone from metroPCS, it doesnt really matter what features it has, but what is the cheapest but most reliable FLIP PHONE you guys suggest. I was thinkin the W315 but from the reviews the hinge is not good. What do you guys think?

Kudos to Metro PCS in terms of customer service. I recently (40 days ago) purchased a Kyocera Strobe. Love the phone, but for the past 3 weeks it would intermitently allow the callers to hear me, yet I could not hear them. The frequency of this occurance has increased each day. Because I use my Metro PCS phone for business this is obviously a HUGE problem for me.

I first called Kyocera tech support, assuming the issue was with the phone. No known issues. They referred me back to the service provider. I went to the store where the phone was purchased and they were very nice, but had to send me to a corporate store.

When I went to the corporate store I was greeted by a very long line and only one service rep to handle the custom...

Picked up the 6265i almost as soon as it came out, and its awesome!

But, I can't send any pix to anyone, at first it let me send them only to e-mail, now I can't send them to anyone, regardless of carrier or e-mail address.

I called Metro Customer Service and got some woman I could barely understand that told me she "reset my system" and to "restart my phone". I tried, and nothing changed!! 😡

The message status get to about 40% and then I get an error message.

Any ideas? First real major issue I've had with Metro so far.

BTW, I'm in the South Florida/Broward County Area if that helps.

What is metroPCS planning on doing with all the spectrum they won during the auction?

sometimes i would send a txt message to a metropcs customer(i have cingular), and it would be a serious delay in them getting the message, when i send to a tmobile, or cingular person(i dont know many people on verizon and sprint and they: my friends: dont txt, i might occasionally send a txt and they get the message in a couple of seconds) they get it in a couple of seconds, but when i txt a metropcs customer like some of my friends and my sister they would get it hours late or even days, and i know that SMS is not a guarenteed swift way to send messages but what is causing that, i noticed a LOT of people in my area, Detroit, Michigan has metropcs,

I'm trying to port my cingular prepaid number to a new MetroPCS phone and the rep in the local MetroPCS store doesn't thin kit can be done. Tips? Advice?

so i checked out the faq and it says that these phones were picked because of their design blah blah blah. if my current phone is on that list, would metro be able to jus activate their service onto my phone?

i really dont feel like shelling out another 300 bucks plus the 175 to cancel my contract...
