What phone as better or equal reception with easier features ? (My wife uses it)

Do you think MetroPCS is going to release any smar phones? I think they could sell a blackberry or motorola Q. They probably would be in the $400 range.

They have been telling me for 3 days now that their system has been down and they say the cannot access my account. They say it is under maintenance. I get a bunch of "call back in an hour or two hours" or "in the morning" or "at night" but still the same thing. I am trying to add some features to my phone and swap my phone out as well and it is really frustrating. Has anyone else been plagued with this problem and is there any more information on when it will be back?

My girlfriend and I bought two phones around the 20th of last December. I ran low on cash, so I returned my phone, well before the 30 days, and with less than an hour of talk time. My girlfriend checked her bill today (January 23) and while we were supposed to have a free month first, she noticed a bill for $180!! We went to the store and (the absolute rudest!) worker told us that the plan I canceled has been been active the whole time, even after I showed her the return receipt.

Anyways, she tried to call customer service and couldn't get through, and simply told us to call it later. There is no way they can charge me for this is there? The worker was absolutely clueless and no help whatsoever. We don't know why the bill is so high. This...

I have been having problems as of late. My speaker on my 2865 broke so no sound without being permanently attached to my Bluetooth. I haven't been getting all my texts or picturemails, and if/when they do come in, they're 5-7 days behind. I talked to cust. service but I think we can all agree they have limited answers. What can I do?

I read somewhere.. maybe for Alltel service.. some ppl are actually connecting the strobe onto their computers... sot hey can use the phone provider's internet access on their laptop. is this possible with Metropcs? I have a Kyocera strobe, and if possible, i will consider getting a connector for my laptop to the phone . Please let me know how to set it up if possible. thnx.

If you use MPT, manually change your USB modem type to K1mm, it will show the multimedia button and allow full access to transfer sounds and pictures to and from your PC/Phone.

Now that MPCS seems to have pretty good coverage for web access in SFBay, it's time to move to the next frontier - the offering of real data services to laptop users.

Now that MPCS has all this money from going public, is this ever going to happen?

As one knowledgeable (somewhat) in the relative freedoms of GSM, I hate that Metro hobbled my 6265i so I can't bond for data with my laptop over Bluetooth. Thanks guys!

What is the problem? Did MPCS cheap out on their tower contracts? Do they not care about getting more revenue from us data folks? As a fairly innovative carrier with lots of cash, why are they so restrictive in their data policies, and what would have to happen for them to consider opening their data policie...

I'm very happy that I purchsed the Slvr L7c by Metro. I make my own ringtones and transfer my own pictures and stuff right from my computer on to my phone! Wow, I didnt think I would be able to. I kept hearing people werent able to so I got the software "Motorola Phone Tools" and it lets me do it. SWEEEETTTT!!!

I wanted to share that incase others cant figure out how to do it. Also get a micro SD memory card to put more songs on the phone and turn your metro pcs Slvr into your little ipod 🙂 get the little motorola headphones also. Cant beat unlimited talking, unlimited ringtones, unlimited pictures wall papers etc.

Does any one know the format for the ringtones on the utstarcom and where i could download them?

I am moving to SD and I have to switch to Cricket ☹️ Hoping metro will come soon??? 🙄

So MetroPCS doesn't have a contract so they don't pay for you're phone. Is the price of their phones the manufacturer's price? Is spending $300 on a RAZR worth it? I see alot of people with cool phones mainly because they could afford them with a contract, then I have to wait for it to be released as a Metropcs phone and then its really expensive. And will MetroPCS ever have smartphones?

My question is whats the commission like for you corp. store people?? How do your quotas work, what are they and whats the pay outs for new activations / upgrades and features? My comp with my company just changed and was curious how it compared to other companies.

Has anyone had any trouble trying to import or export data from the Nokia 6265i? I've tried using my memory card but the card reader on my computer and the card reader that I bought both wont read the mem card, I've tried Bluetooth and IR dongles and neither of those worked with Windows Vista-in fact they crashed the computer. And Nokia says that the CA-53 data cable drivers wont work with Vista. Any suggestions on what I can do to get pics off of phone and into computer and get music onto phone?

since metro got some new spectrum to use on the new AWS bands(1.7ghz and 2.1ghz) when is metro gonna get phones for those bands, are their new networks built yet in the newly acquired areas, will metro even get triband cdma phones (1.9,1.7, 2.1ghz) or even quadband with 850mhz.
