Can the Verizon Glyde be Flashed to Metro pcs?????

I have been searching for metro pcs flash supported phones. I have searched houdinisoft.com, they have a list of phones but i am unsure if this particular phone is available to flash.

Please advise, I am looking into the Voyager and the glyde but if there are some good comparable phones please list and your pro's and con's if possible. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

need feedback

Hi,
I'm considering to make the switch to this carrier but I'd like some feedback from anyone that's currently a customer of this carrier as far as: network reliability, dropped calls, customer service, value of calling plans, etc. Thanks!

samsung i830

I have a i830 and want to flash it. I went to a store last week and the salesperson tried but said it wouldn't finish the process. He said it was a 3 step proccess and it did the 1st 2. Has anyone successfully flashed this phone and/or is there anything I can do to help the rep.

MetroFlash Updates

A Metro rep told me yesterday that an update is in the works to fix the web and mms problem. If I flash my Voyager now, what will be destroyed and will it be fixed by the update? I understand that the MP3 player will be gone if I flash... does anyone know if the BREW functions (including email) are available post flash? The rep said they should work since the voyager is brew compatible. I just bought this phone and before I destroy it by flashing, I just want to know if it can be redeemed later by the update, without the mp3 function, I'd rather keep my Slvr. Thanks for any info! (I just bought the phone, new, and I would rather sell it than wreck it.)

Switch an Metro Account to another account

I was wondering if it is possible for me to bring in a CDMA phone to metro PCS and have them switch my account to that phone. Will they charge a fee? Does it have to be a phone that was already on metro service?

Anyone using verizon PDA XV6700 with metro?

There's a friend of mine using it, he says it's perfect. paid 50 bucks to have it reprogrammed, and it's a CDMA phone so it works great with metro.... I'm thinking about doing that too... it's a great phone, built-in wi-fi, bluetooth, keyboard, and u can a used one on ebay for 150. is it legal?

MetroPCS Lauches in Philadelphia

MetroPCS Communications Inc. is offering its flat-rate, unlimited calling cell phone plans in the greater Philadelphia area, the wireless carrier's first foray in the Northeast.

Philadelphia is the 11th market for Dallas-based MetroPCS, which has 4.4 million customers nationwide.

The company offers cell phone plans priced from $30 a month, without a contract, credit check or activation fee. Last week, MetroPCS also offered to unlock other carriers' cell phones for use with its network.

But phone plans are only unlimited if used within the MetroPCS coverage area, which includes 14 of the 25 largest metropolitan regions. There is a fee to call from outside the coverage area.

MetroPCS said it has six company-owned stores in Philadel...

push email

Metropcs offers "unlimited push email" on their website. They do not know what "push email" is and should stop advertising it. Only Blackberry in the US offers true "push email" although it is common in Europe.
