I really like the halio phone called ocean 2. And all i do it non stop text. is there anyway to buy the phone outright and get the no annual contract plan such as the new texters delight plan?

However . . .
1) The rights to this phone (and others that Virgin offers) are owned by Virgin Mobile completely which means that you cannot download any free ringtones, wallpaper, games etc. that are not offered through Virgin Mobile, meaning of course, that you have to pay to play. I tried looking for a sync kit for use with my phone and computer . . . forget about it. They aren't available.
2) My phone will not charge beyond one bar. I contacted customer service and asked for a replacement battery (since my phone is under warranty) and they sent me...
I'll probably just get the Aloha or Marbl so it sounds good if there really aren't any hidden costs.

(1)Text typing speed? I type faster than the Marbl and often have to wait for the cursor to catch up so I can type the next character. That's worse in the email text typing mode using the browser with my hotmail or yahoo box. Then, it lags or stumbles so badly if I try to keep typing, I get a lot of errors.
(2)mobile browser scrolling speed? It's a bit herky jerky on the Marbl, I sometimes hit the wrong items or click the wrong thing because of the delay.
I do a lot of texting, up to or over 1000 per month, and I do some email so I'd want a cell that was faster or better at thes...
