Why does Samsung insist on using cartoon like icons? I'm sure they can afford a good designer.

Re: New IOS question
Sep 19, 2013, 12:28 PM
in the Article: Review: Apple iOS 7 from A to Z forum

Short answer, no. All that did before was remove it from multi task menu, not close it down. The way iOS works is that once an app is not in the forground and is left and then pushed to the background, it has to suspend. The exception is media apps but those you are probably listening to anyway. Honestly, if closing those out as you do had any real consequence, you'd lose the ability to get calls or messages. ...

I've been using the phone for a few days now and I don't mind the orientation not changing when the keyboard comes out or the phone is rotated. I have the evo now and lock the orientation to portrait anyway. The only real gripe I have about it not changing is in market search.... I'm not sure it's a design flaw (other than market) but I think the phone flows better and works better in portrait mode. Overall, I'm ...

You do not need a task killer. Just because it shows that it's in the background doesn't mean it is using any cpu. Android is not like windows or osx, it loads everything it can to memory waiting to be called up. That's a very big misconception with android... here is one of the best write ups on the issue... http://m.lifehacker.com/5650894/android-t ask-killers-explained-what-they-do-and-why-yo u-shouldnt-use-them

dialing a call takes 10-20 seconds to process and answering a call takes longer than it did before the update. random stalls when hitting the home button... just about most of the issues i think is with sense because the past few days i put launcher pro on and only the dialing and answering calls is stalling.

I know a bad experience sticks with you, but I left at&t over a year ago and have been with Sprint since then. They have a 30 day no questions asked return policy and will refund everything to including phone cost, bill and activation. They aren't the same company they used to be. I will say with my past experiences with at&t you'll be getting this same run around forever. If Sprint isn't an option, there is always Verizon. ...

Ability to use video chat and unlimited bandwidth... no matter if you are on 3G or 4G... and while the phone has Sprint apps on it, you are free to do what you wish... if you do not want to pay the additional $30.00 a month for the Sprint Hotspot, they (as of now) are not going to block those services... also, to help build out the 4G network... THAT is what the additional $10.00 a month is for.

after the fiasco of the HTC Hero, I've lost faith in HTC to do the right thing... After putting off the 2.1 update forever the update made most Hero's worse! HTC puts out a ton of phones, they just need to put a little more effort into keeping up the support for those phones. I do find it funny that dumb a$$es blame the carrier when a phone doesn't act right, and clearly it's a phone issue....
