you can get TecTiles (comes with 5 nfc programable sticker/tag) for 11.44$ at amazon or go att store to buy it at 15$. if you not going to upgrade to GS4, this old version works fine.

ok, i have a TecTiles at my home desk, when i tap on it, it automatically turn on or off Block mode (when i driving, i dont want people calling me).
i have another TecTiles at my car dash, when i tap it, it automatically turn on brightness 100% (when you driving, sometime it hard to see the screen) and automatically launch google voice with a pre-fill-in phone number of the person you texts the most. ...

note with 5.3 is really not that big! i have no problem putting it on my jean pocket or any pocket!
why would i want a tablet? can a tablet make and receive phone calls?
i just use the Note as tablet PLUS it makes calls too!
