They ditched the 8gb plan that was $50/mo for the 6gb plan that cost $45/mo

I don't know what the hell they're doing anymore

Maybe they're not targeting users towards higher-end high-speed data caps?
I'm actually on cricket paying technically $50 for the (now) 8gb monthly plan. Unfortunately cricket is still throttled at 8 mbps for "4g lte" speeds, but ATT gophone shouldn't be...
ATT gophone also seems to have a one-month grace "rollover data" period, so I hopefully would be able to pretty have a giant buffer roll over (up to 12 GB on one month potentially) for lots of the months.

Negative of course is jumping directly in bed with ATT again... ☹️


To me the new "Unlimited choice" Gophone $60 plan is ?!?? since the throttling there on max speed is (wtf) 3 mbps, vs 8 mbps on Cricket. And it looks like Cricket is rolling out all these streaming/data saver...

i switched from cricket to att gophone.
i used to pay 40$ for 4gb data on gophone, that' more than enough for me. now i get 6gb data on gophone for the same price of 40$. there' NO throttle speed on gophone.
