So you mean i can pick up the call once the music mutes? also is your reply referencing the older adapter or the new USB based adapter? or it works same way for both. thanks a gr8 deal

Any BMW drivers here currently using the iphone via the optionable USB adapter. If so i would like to know what happens while you are listening to music on it and a call comes in, does it go straight to voicemail or you can pick it up just like you would be able to while listening to music on it the normal way. Thanks

Yeah you are right about this and this is one thing a lot of people don't consider. I remember my brother used to have about 4 or 5 bars on his Sprint phone in his house and would experience a lot of low quality and dropped calls, then he switched to Verizon and got the VX7000 and would only have like 2 bars and he said the calls were crisp and clear with no dropped calls whatsoever. Well this is what i think, i have noticed that Motorola phones tend to have higher Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) ratings than LG phones, there is the talk around that high SAR ratings are not good for you and that might be why Motorola phones get better reception (they expose you to more RF which is measured by the SAR rating). Just a food for thought, perhaps those of you screaming better reception! better reception! are frying your brains ...

Yeah but your thread specifically said that you got this info on Moto website, could you post that page as i find it extremely difficult to believe that LG would put a speaker phone on the 8100 thats worse than the one they put on the 8000

I read on the page below that the 8100 has a CCD camera and not a CMOS as PhoneScoop has it. Look at the 8100 section about at the middle of the page.
