Speakerphone
😡 😡 😡 Read on the Moto 815 site that the speakerphone on the 8100 was very similar to the 6100. A VZW tech says he got to test a production model. The 6100 sounds like crap. My daughter has one. Anybody hear anything?

I have actually heard that the speaker phone on this phone is really good ( and this was from a moto lover). They said that it is as good as the speaker on the 8000 so you may want to see how you like that speaker to be able to judge.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe LG followed in moto's footsteps on ther latest phones (vx7000, 8000) and went with a full duplex speakerphone. If so, it should be great and blow away the 6100. the speakerphone on my v710 is good, and if anything, too loud on the loudest setting. I keep it on a 2-3 out of 7.

also, keep in mind the 6100 used the same actual speaker for the earpiece, the ringer, and the speaker. the number and size of the drivers(speakers) do play a role here. i don't have any specs to back it up but the 8100's look even bigger than the 8000. especially with the lg 4650's(lg's first full duplex speakerphone) speaker sounding so good i'm pretty hopeful.

Going to check out the 80090 today. I just heard from someone on the MOTO site who said he tested the 'production' models of each. Full duplex, but sounded similar to the 6100, not crisp and tinny.

crisp and tinny aren't necessarily good things. i'm just gonna wait till we get them in the store and play with them. i don't like taking peoples word on stuff like this. also, one thing on the 6100 and also the 4500. if people would actually turn down the volume they'd be more pleased with them. if you set the speaker volume at mid instead of high it sounds almost as loud and way clearer.

Yeah but your thread specifically said that you got this info on Moto website, could you post that page as i find it extremely difficult to believe that LG would put a speaker phone on the 8100 thats worse than the one they put on the 8000
