These old CEO's are from the land-land age. They don't understand enough about wireless. Most wireless customers still use mainly voice, but they need to keep pushing them to upgrade. This will effect AT&T's already weak 3G lineup. And every other GSM carrier who is upgrading. Most 3G vendors use Qualcomm chip sets. Only a hand few don't. So this will cause a lot of problems. Broadcom really doesn't seem to understand that this will hurt them more then Qualcomm.

The iPhone is nothing different. It has the same features as any other PDA, but OH WOW, it can play iTunes music! If you wasted money on iTunes music, which can't be played on other other music player, making you a slave for life to Apple, then you have no clue what is good of not.

It is set to start rolling out later this year. Not too much is know yet. There is some talk if the WiMax was to work very well, that Sprint may switch from CDMA to a complete WiMax network within the next 5 to 10 years. But I don't think that is true.

As for the Internet access, you need to update the data services every once and a while. Settings/Power Vision/Update profile.
As for the coverage. Do you live in a small town that has grown very fast? If this is the case, then Sprint should be getting ready to build extra towers in their area;look on their web site.

Sprint's network is actually larger then Verizon's and Cingular's already. With roaming, it's 295 million POP, which is the largest. There is also data roaming in place. And it is free.
Sprint and Nextel now share towers, but they do not work together. Sprint is going to sell the iDEN network in 2010 and use Nextel's 800Mhz spec to fill in the gaps of their CDMA coverage.
Best advice, get a new Sprint CDMA phone with a Roam-Only option. Then ...

There is a service people use to create false caller ID info. This could be the case. Have tech support do a trace-back. They will be able to see if the number is real, faked, or an error.

Everyone always complains without knowing. It always drives me crazy when people knock Sprint, or any carrier for that matter without understanding all of the pros and cons of those companies.
Do a search, read somethings, Sprint offers the best of everything. Well, almost. I wish they were using the R-UIM cards. They that would shut these stupid GSM freaks up. GSM has nothing over CDMA except for SIM cards.

It depends. Why are you looking to void the contract instead of just paying the fee? Are you having a problem with your service? There is always people you can call to get fees waved.

Yeah okay AT&T employee. Cingular just copies Sprint. Sprint starting offer mobile TV back in 2001, so Cingular starting using Mobiletv, which Sprint helped build by the way. Sprint stared offering fully media-play phones, so Cingular starting doing it as well. This seems more like Cingular-AT&T incapable of coming up with great ideas, so they steal them.
