Gmail Application on Sanyo MM7400 / Sprint Question

I am trying to get the gmail applicaiton to work on my Sanyou MM7400 so I can read email.
Does it work. I keep getting an error telling me to grant some kind of permission when trying to connect.

Are you receiving the message saying "Gmail would like to access the network?" followed by a series of options that include "allow this time" "always allow" etc?
If so then just select "always allow". This is a security precaution to verify if you want third party apps on your phone (GMail in this case) to access the vision network.

it may be that you have to go to your Gmail acct online and allow pop access on the settings tab.

If you can't get it to work use Flurrymail or you can get Sprint's Mobile e-mail client. They are both free.
