As far as I know no one has developed a working wimax technology that works well enough and is small enough to encorporate into a phone. Everything i have seen is still in fetal stages of development.

AAAAAA-CHOOOOOO!!!!!!!

sorry, im allergic to the BS in here.

there are lots of wimax devices out there, just not here.

our models will initially be very similar to the ones you can find in asia now.

here is one example that i found by simply searching google:

*sniffle* Must be contagious. But seriously I was appalled at that reply from ng. There are many WiMAX devices out there already as you said m_t. Samsungs website shows a few including the ultra mobile pc. *drool*

Wimax can clock up to 6 megs. right now the only devices that do that are the motorola and nextnet modems. Drool all u like I worked for clearwire as a startup and we tested lots of tech and u cant get tiny and cellular over 1 meg right now.

O REALLY FOOL!!!

EVDO revA can technically do 3.1 Mbps up and down, and its not uncommon to see about 1.5, while i admit average is slightly less than a meg.

Wimax is already in use in other parts of the world. i dont know if you perhaps missed that part of my last BURN.

LOL you are an idiot. Sprint plans a functional wimax that whoops the ass of Rev A. Kim Sungs **** wont hold flame to the American WiMax canopy u will feel the burn when u see it smear the competition and leave them scratching thier heads about what the hell to do for 4G since no one else chose to buy up the 2.5 GHZ spectrum.

Even though i am sure u goto asia daily to test thier new technolgy personally.

I said nothing of the sort.

What I presented was factual information in the form of a legitimate rebuttal to your incoherent rambling.

And I am more than aware of Sprint's plan to blanket the country with WiMax.

PS:

Punctuation is good.

Motorola, Samsung and Nokia already have some in line. Once Sprint launches the network, the phones will be sold through their web site.
