Re: Really
Funny how people like to us that Troll word...   ... That just comes out when you run out of things to say and your only 2 neurons are playing ping pong
Re: First ?
Yes, they have call centers in different areas and one in Puerto Rico. It always depends on your tenure example. Your last upgrade was 10 months ago then you can get bumpped up to the 1 year tenure. Example 2 you have 16 months since your last upgrade you can get bumpped up to the 18 months tenure. Last example you have 20 months since your last upgrade you can get bumpped up to the 22 months tenure upgrade ...
Re: First ?
That's when the call accidently cuts off and you call again then the next rep will most likely be able to help you. It depends what state your call goes to how they operate I know this because I worked there and that's the way it always was. One state may help you and the next one might not. Or sometimes in the same state just the next rep will help you.
Re: First ?
Ok, first of all I worked there. Second coverage is really based on where you live. Third it sucks for customers in the USA here in PR price plans are lower and coverage is getting better. Not where it should be but getting better. I learned while working there that the best rates come from the Loyalty department. No upgrade fee, No S&H, $50 credit on the phone $5.00 off for 12 months. Annually a $10 goodwill credit. Download ...
Re: Really
Why not just wait for black friday and get it for $200.00 or probably $150.00. It happens every year with every phone , they go in a crazy special that weekend. I'm getting 2 of them so I'll wait for that weekend. Just not on T-Mobile.
Re: Really
" Alternately, customers wishing to subscribe to one of T-Mobile's Value Plans can make a $249.99 downpayment on the Note II, followed by 20 monthly payments of $20 on their bill via T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).
"
So in other words $249.99 down payment = $20 X 20 = $249.99 + $400 = $649.99. What the hell is this??? Of course there won't be a MIR with this travesty, that's s a full on rape right there. But I ...
Re: Really
I worked for T-Mobile a couple of years ago. And this wasent really the case back then. People will not be happy with the MIR plus $369.00. And it only is cheaper if you go thrue there Loyalty department.
Really
I mean really T-Mobile, after all you are not the best carrier of them all and on top of that you are going to sell this phone with the most expensive price??? Come on really??? And $369.00 after the mail in rebate. Wow just wow.
Re: Yay for Sprint, Screw AT&T
As a Sprint customer I am glad this is happening. As far as AT&T they just received "FCC Greenlights AT&T's WCS Spectrum Plans " . So in other words they are just fine , that will amplify there LTE networks and is also a counter to what Verizon received with the Cable companies proposal. In all everybody receives a piece of the pie and more competition.
Re: According to the rep that was at our office, the Note 2 will be on Sprint first
Probably be leaked in a day or 2 about pre-ordering
About time!
We finally get an answer as to when. Basically all cariers, but especially Sprint since that is my phone provider. Now how about on pre-order???
Re: That royally stinks
Remember , exclusive apps mean a lot to apple. Remember Instagram???...Any app that was exclusive for apple that in the future will not be certainly does not help apple.
Re: That royally stinks
What I take from this is that they simply want to improve there email services while hurting the compitition. Now adays that seems to be the way to go.
Re: Nonsense.
Remember John , the one's at fault are actually 2. 1 - The Patent system , 2 - Apple . They opened a pondoras door that opens both ways. What HTC is really doing is making Apple spent a little more in litigation wich they most willingly will. Congress is thinking about getting involved but let's see how that goes. No end to this nonsense seems inminent.
Re: LTE???
That's not to far off actually, thanks for the link.
Re: That's funny...
I can't complain with my 3D haven't had any issues with it like many people state. Battery last almost all day, I can upgrade at any moment since 2 months ago. I will wait to see the Galaxy Note 2 on August 30th to see how it performs before making an upgrade but for know ICS on my 3D will do me just fine.
Re: the corporate statements always give me a chuckle.
I know it got a little  out of me. Just covering there tracks to not be next in line to be sued. But if your the customer why do the update I wouldn't.
Re: That's funny...
I know it is sad. I have the Evo 3D and have been patiently waiting, the jurking around does suck though.
Re: Perhaps...
Ok , I mostly agree. But that being said this AWS Spectrum falls in Verizon's lap then there will be a BIG 1 ( Verizon ) , aLittle brother ( At&t ) and the step brothers ( Everybody else ). They will be be able to offer the best 4g experience and beyond. They have many options with that AWS spectrum it's not even fair. Even if they divest and sell some other spectrum to T-Mobile like they have ...
Re: LTE???
I wasen't to far off, more than a year and a half from now anyways. But like I said I will stay with Sprint there customer Care is the best that I've experienced. 3G is not that bad plus I have Wifi at home.
LTE???
I don't know, I've been waiting for Wimax in PR for 2 years know  ... They said it would be up and running in a few months when I bought the original Evo. Know they are testing Wimax in PR Finally, LTE probably in another 2 years... But still I like Sprint and I will upgrade for the Evo LTE most likely.
Re: Apple????
I have both an Iphone 4S and a Evo 3D , Siri is much smoother than what I have in my EVO right now. And smoother is easier , I like it but it really is like picking between apples and oranges. I actually prefer Android any time of day and am going to buy the EVO LTE , but to whoom it's preference . The OS market is shaping up pretty nicely , competetion is always helthy.
Re: Apple????
You are right up to a certain point Haggard , but Siri is way ahead of anything that android offeres right now. 3D maps does make a little difference , but apple like many of it's peers before that dominated the market for a while ie BB , Palm , Microsoft to name a few kind of settle as being the King and sees the market pass them by. I like competition and own Apple products but that said ...
Re: Who is right here?
I have to say that AT&T just does not stop surprising me. Sooner than later there customers will get fed up with all there BS on raising prices and the only one that will really be affected in the end will be AT&T. I do like what they are doing with there network and constant improvements and expansion but to blame rasing prices on a failed merger come on now , Really???
Re: it is time for some....
Come on know play nice. you MUST know why they implemented WIMAX , it has beed discussed here in phonescoop at least 10,000,000 times. But it is nice to see them implementing LTE faster then I thought they might be able to. Not winning but gathering more RESPECT. ( For Now )
Re: Precursor to a Merger / Buyout
That's king of tricky with Sprint. They are a wild card , you never really know what they are planning ( for good or bad ). They have tried many things in the past I'll give them that, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to buy them out in the future or if bad judgement calls finnally catch up to Sprint and they might have to put up the "For Sell" sign up in front of there Buildings.
Re: Hopefully
Ok, The spectrum that changes hands will belong to TMobile...( Still whaiting for approval though )... They also have a Roaming agreement that will last 6 years but only on specific Markets ( Mainly Major )...After the 6 years no more Roaming agreement but the spectrum will be theres + $3,000,000,000 in cash...Let's see what comes of this in regards to TMobile Coverage, it has to get better with the fees AT&T will have to pay
Hopefully
hopefully , this will help T-Mobile in the short run. I know that it's a six year roaming agreement as well. Let's see if they can compete now, but part of me knows that they will be sold one day and one less of the big boys will be around.
Re: Huuummm
That is correct AJ, Verizon has its own way of doing things and does not get slammed like other companies for doing so...I do have to say there is a reason Verizon is very quiet about the merger of TMobile & AT&T ( Alltell Merger ) and might be probably waiting for it to go through, then who can say No, or try to refute them if they want to buy out Sprint ( I know a long shot ...

LTE was always the way to go. Sprint was too stupid as usual to realize it. Their WiMAX service is atrocious. But I don't blame that on the technology itself. I think it's because it operates at such a high frequency (2500 MHz?) that the signal doesn't penetrate well inside building structures.
My friends with Evo's constantly complain how 4G service sucks on the Sprint network. Even Sprint's 3G service sucks too lately for some reason. Maybe all ...
Re: Motorola...
The thing is plenty of people has a Bad preception of Motorola, and yes the original Razr was a top seller but we all know now what crap it really was.. ...But given there partnership with Google , give it a year or so and Motorola should be one of the Top manufacteres by then... Just my 2 cents

Huuummm
Honestly I believe that this is the way to go, Lightsquare may never be up and running + there frequensy is suspect and Clearwire has so much spectrum that Sprint should be ok from this deal. The only question mark is the NON Exclusive deal, hopefully they do stay together. Realize it or not Sprint really needs Clearwire and for what I can see and read LTE is the way to go...

Re: This bickering between carriers and manufacturers...
I have to agree Apple is not an innovator, all they do is take ideas and sometimes make it better. Even though I have to admit this 4G dilenma that they have going on, I can grow a 2 foot beard by the time the Iphone has 4G  ...The Ipad, very nice idea, extended battery life a great idea , Siri I applaud them on that one , stuck on 3G not so much...Don't get me wrong I ...

As much as I dislike Windows' approach to WP7...I will agree that the OS really isn't that bad...I am just irritated that at launch, it was missing important things that it should've had...such as multitasking, copy and paste, etc
I was extreemly suprised that it lacked those basic now a day features at launch..
ICS is going to change Android as we know it today, other OS have to catch up , but my feeling is that they will

Re: Well now.
That is a "Big" detail that a lot of people seem to overlook...Every company emplys its own version of 4G , meaning not compatible " X " company with " X " company...The Merger will go through, even if they have to divest %50 of T-Mobile but it will get done...They both seem very interested in making it happen T-Mobile has 39Billion reasons to want it to go through :)

Re: Mid level phone
Exactly my thinking, once I read the specs it is hardly a mid-level phone. I am still waiting for another version with a bigger screen of the EVO 3D. Might be a year away but I'll wait... :D
