I think what was missed here was that he was talking about pre-Sprint Nextel. So, indeed, your rebuttal was not logical. Just because Sprint owns Nextel now, doesn't mean that Nextel's past successes are Sprint's successes.

Most indirect dealers won't see an early upgrade. I've not come across someone who has voiced concerns about Amazon specifically, but I really doubt they would be able to upgrade your line.

$30 for unl is only for those who are grandfathered into unl data for their phones. Everyone else gets 6 GB of data for 50 on 4G

As a Vzw CS rep, sometimes they are for no reason. Entitlement is a terrible way to view anything. If your a jerk because YOU went over the min plan youve had for 2 years... I believe your a jerk for no reason at all.

Lets be honest though, out of the box, the iPhone is a midrange phone. So what att really lacks is any true high end competitive choices. My comment was less of an attack on your statement and more a rebuttal. There are a couple that are not true smartphones that I would whole heartedly agree with your statement though.

Say what you will about Verizon having mid range and low end Android smartphones. People like them. They don't have to spend $200+ for the feeling of having everything at their fingertips. Most people don't require the top end and shouldn't have to pay the price to have something they have no use for. The Ally was popular for being mid-range. Not too much to handle for your average user. The Citrus is a free, low end smartphone. While ...

Couldn't agree more, I'm with Verizon so we do have a lot of variety, but the iPhone seems to dominate peoples mind sets. It's almost like no one realizes that the phone is crippled by it's os and manufacturer.

Most Androids can set personalized tones, Blackberries have been able to for what seems like forever now, Windows Phone 7 will gain the ability some time this fall. iPhone may never be able to, they lag behind in most functionality stand points. Apple has too much of a strong arm on the os.

I feel like the replies to this were about an assumption of liability. The title says non-liability this would make me believe it is the creation of a sub account. Free to do and it stays under the original customers social security number meaning no new account or security deposit. It's posted in the system as well, I'm pretty sure it says "should not be discussed with customers" on the top as well as I spent all day looking at it between calls.

Jay, I read through these forums a lot because they are some of the only ones I can get to at work. That being said, I think anyone who has seen one post about 4g unl data or your new charge, or even what you use for it or your career. No need to constantly repeat yourself.

I'm not anti-tier, but doesn't anyone believe that 2gb is a little low for a smartphone. When I had no wifi I was only using 2.5 and I'm only a moderate user. Soon we will have tiers on fios data as well and everything here will be just insanity. wifi's will no longer give that kind of security unless you live next to a McDonald's or Starbuck's and who is to say that they will continue to provide free ...

I think something that you are missing is that the people who get smartphones in this generation are people who had pocket pc's or PDAs in the past. People who carried around game boys or sega genesis handheld gaming systems. In more recent generations, it gets the people who are legit addicted to facebook out of the computer room and allows them to some way to get out and experience real life. There is a screen in VZAccess manager that should say text messages. How is Verizon to know whether people are not giving out these numbers as free texting lines? Btw Class action when the most I've ever seen is $.40 is that really worth the cost ...

The real question is why was she speaking to a supervisor in the first place... Was the tone of the rep that answered the call not to the liking? Was the representative before them incompetant and not resolve the issue? Were they simply denied the credit they did not deserve? Too many people think they are going to recieve special treatment by supervisors.

No it's us industry people who the responsibility is to clean up the messes made by trolls. I have enough people who refuse to listen call. Last thing I need is someone giving them false information and making the call longer than it has to be. This industry is a main contributor to my increase In smoking. Mark my words.

Well put, There is a ton of variety in cell phone choices. Sprint has more phone options due to the variety in their network (Nextel phones still exist) but if this is the only reason you are thinking of moving to someone else there isn't going to be a perfect phone+carrier combination. It's always a give and take.

Strangest things are people wanting to get the film out of their phones to get pictures developed and not wanting to be put in the tech queue because they don't want to wait on hold... Not to mention the people who don't have a computer but insist on getting an iPhone over the phone only to be told to go to the store to get it activated.

This is the stupidest idea I could have imagined. Except I don't imagine such silly things as thinner phones. I use the iPhone 4. It's too thin now and slick. Had a call where a man had just bought the phone stepped outside, dropped and shattered it on the pavement outside that store. Luckily he got the insurance. Apple seems to prefer form over function. I've only just started using the iPhone as a phone as my relationship becomes ...

Lol I get your point but as the majority of my tech issues are env3 and env touches LG may be good at flip phones but seeing as I make next to 0 calls a phone like that to me is almost useless. So the phones I would be looking at would have to be at least multimedia, and every single multimedia grade phone LG has produced that seems to be worth the trouble.

I personally have never had a phone made by LG. In my honest opinion they should stick to making appliances. But now that I think about it... My second phone was an LG flip. Hated that think but it sure took a beating.

Real buttons are much easier to ruin than capacitive. Over all the capacitive keys have not been the issues on phones and in fact I've never seen them be an issue unless the whole phone isnt responding. Than again I'm only 1 rep, so it's just not my experience that this is in fact true.

I've had customers claim that there is no way that their 12 yr old son could have downloaded the game on their bill because they (the woman on the phone) couldn't do it.
