Bought online, exchange question?

Can't remember, if I do an exchange will VZW send me my replacement first, then I send them my old phone?
Therefore I'm not without a phone? Or are they going to say send us your current phone and when we receive it we'll send you your exchange?
Leaving me without a phone in the interim. Confused

Not sure how Verizon does it exactly, but typically it would be the latter. They need to confirm you sent your phone back before they send you a new one, so you don't scam them out of a phone, right?

In almost all cases we will send you a phone before you have to send the one back. If we do not recieve your equipment back in a timely fashion, (within 30 days) you will be charged full retail for the phone you neglected to return. You also under the worry free guarantee you can exchange it in a local store as well. A $35 restock fee is applied to all products that have been removed from teh original wrapping.
