Siemens and Audiovox have every right to take credit for these devices. They are the companies that released them to the US. HTC does not sell the phones themselves. It is always through a outside vendor. ie Imate, QTek, Orange, Audiovox, Dopod to name a few. HP buys devices through them, I also believe the Treo 650 was developed and built by them.

It is actually the upgrade to the Hurricane. The code name is the HTC Tornado...
The hurricane doesn't have WiFi and is branded as the C550 in Europe right now. This will have likely be branded as the C600 in Europe although it isn't known who the US branding will be through.

Doesn't have push email??? Are you SMOKING CRACK... Windows Mobile 5 will have push email that is equal to blackberry without the cost of a server. Blackberry better start making some better devices because Microsoft is gunning for them. And with devices like this, the HTC Universal and the 25 other Windows Mobile phones that will be coming out in the next year they will start to eat away at RIM's "Domination" of the wireless ...

HTC has been known for releasing devices with multiple band configurations...
I would anticipate this will be one of those devices.
Expect a GSM 850/1800/1900 UMTS 850/1900 version of this devices also.

For every 2 reasons you call Windows Mobile a bad OS, I can happily provide 10 reasons it is an excellent OS.
I'm guessing you are a Symbian or Palm fanboy who talks badly about anything that isn't what they carry. Does it make you mad that the fastest growing phone OS is Windows Mobile?

No offense but I'm questioning your sources. From the people I talk to that have the AWE v600 they don't have this issue. Yes there are software issues, but everything else is working fine. I know 3 people that have and use the branded AWE version of the V600. They all work for AWE and use the phone regularly. Yes the phone is as buggy as the T72x series, but it is working on ...
