Wrong I was. No biggie.

As I said, I may have been duped. However, all this adds up to why Apple only presented a iPhone 4s yesterday. Why I will fall to the side of this being true is stated below. 1. 20B investment 2. WSJ, NYT, LA Times reporting iPhone 5 to Sprint 3. Oct. 7th Sprint press conference 4. Apple iPhone site not bringing Sprint link live, yet. I've been wrong before and could be here.

Apple iPhone 5 to be announced October 7th!!!

in the Sprint forum

Apple is sly like a fox! I could have been duped, but Apple will accompany Dan Hesse at Sprint's Friday press conference and announce an iPhone 5. Sprint will have exclusive rights until late first or early 2nd quarter 2012. Yesterday's Apple iPhone announcement now makes sense.

:) :D :-)... I've replaced EVERYTHING PC related in my home with an Apple product of some sort. Sprint has me locked into a retention plan that is too price advantageous for me to leave. NOW, it appears, an iPhone is on the horizon. I cannot be happier!

I LOVE the latest reports. I do not care if the rumored iPhone coming to Sprint is not going to be 4g. I cannot wait to have this phone AND remain a Sprint customer.

Facts or no facts, since my first sip of the Apple koolaid, I've been hooked. To complete my Apple sweep, an iPhone. I will not do it if it means leaving Sprint.

Again, nothing has been substantiated by Apple or Sprint, but this tease is killing me. Rumor: iPhone 4S to launch on T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T in September Justin Lowery Sat, May 21, 2011 @ 6:31 PM If reports published by industry analysts and CNN Tech are to be believed, the upcoming iPhone 4S may launch on all major U.S. carriers in September. The rumored launch would simultaneously include T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T. This move would be unprecedented for ...

I feel you! This is the second coming of "The Decision." A colossal flop! As LeBron should have kicked his buddy to the curb for that, Sprint should fire the idiot that thought of this.

This is a trick, isn't it?

Please say this is not what Sprint hyped! A gimmick! Please, someone at Sprint PLEASE kiss Steve's butt and get the iPhone on this network.

Blackbery Desktop for Mac BB 5.0 OS Conflict
Jul 15, 2010, 10:46 AM
in the BlackBerry Bold 9650 forum

Five phones, hours of conversation with Sprint and RIM tech support later, there is a conflict between BB Desktop for Mac and the BB 5.0 OS that removes voicemail text alerts. I have no idea why this occurs. If there is anyone that may offer a solution I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you.

I have had he same problem. You may also notice your voicemail audible alerts have gone away. Additionally, in the SMS window, if you wish to call someone from your SMS window, click "call Bob", it will only dial the first number in "Bob's" contact. Will not allow you select the number of the contact, cell, home, work. Ultimately, I downgraded back to 4.7.1 to get my functionality back. I spend hours on he ...

I have got to admit I have been one of these people that wanted "more, more, more and not willing to pay." I have got to say, Sprint has been so good to me over the past 14 years. Yup, this works. I was given a Pick 3 and Pick 2. They are stacked. Also mentioned, you have to call in to make the change AND the change goes into affect in the next billing cycle. They are free but there is a plan threshold that you must be above.

Menno, You are partly correct and partly incorrect with your information. Yes, the Simply Everything plans are profitable for Sprint. However, it is much more costly to attract a new customer and put this person into a SP plan than it is to keep legacy plan customers like myself. They are making money over the past 13 years off of my plan which more than covers the cost of any "subsidized" handset I chose. Sprint would ...

Without a doubt, BB Tour! I could not be happier with my BB. I was about to upgrade from a Treo 755p to a Treo Pro and was talked out of it by a Sprint rep. The issues with the current Windows operating system was major concern. However, being honest, if the Treo Pro had the new Windows operating system the decision would have been somewhat harder to make. Now one HUGE selling feature the ...

Again many thanks. I, like many others, am just trying to find a way to get a Pre without the required Everything Plan. I would pay the price of an add-on if it were available. I guess Sprint's Instinct strategy is more important than keeping legacy customers. Thank you again.

SprintBGN, thank you. I have both, email and his id. So I can move over to a Everything Plus plan, keep my number, and receive my 20% discount? I just want to make sure before I initiate this process. Thanks again.

Can an existing Sprint customer be converted to a Everything Plus plan?
May 26, 2009, 10:49 AM

I am a 12 year Sprint customer. I have a feature rich legacy plan along with a 20% discount. I would love to buy a Palm Pre but the existings plans would double my monthly rate. However there is the new SERO plan, Everything Plus that is out there. If anyone knows if existing customers can be switched over to this plan I would be most appreciative.

My issue with the hype, I would estimate more than a million Sprint subscribers with a legacy plan not making the switch to a Pre. Our plans are too feature rich to scrap them to double our monthly expense. It is not the phone that is keeping me with Sprint, it's my service plan. However, if I were to switch plans, I'm going iPhone. I wonder if Sprint marketing folks take our comments into account ...
