Is there a delay when you sign in that you'll receive the additional 15gb? I have signed in a few times and I'm still only at 15gb
I didn't find the program on Sprint's site but I found this article that has more information http://www.fiercewireless.com/ story/sprint-launch-50-unlimited-plan-iphone- 6-6-plus-customers/2014-09-09
"Sprint said the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be eligible for a new Simply Unlimited plan that offers unlimited talk, text, and data for just $50 per month for a single line" If you're in a good Sprint service area this is a great deal! I'm still on a SERO plan and I'm limited to 500mins per month for the same price.
I'm sure it won't be a deal breaker as it serves such great function... but one of the pics made it look like it was noticeably deeper than the original dimple and the metal looking ring around it makes me think it won't be nearly as comfortable as the original
thanks for the clarification
Ear piece volume?
My biggest complaint with the original X is the ear piece volume. I cannot get it loud enough to hear clearly in most situations and I have to use the speaker phone. It gets frustrating Have you had a chance to test the volume? If so, how does it compare to the original?
Is the dimple on the back as deep as it looks in the pics? On the original X it's such a great thought and position, not intrusive and perfect function
Re: new sample photos
thanks for the additional pics... .low light shots are not great. Looks like the zoom pics were hit and miss
As I type this from my original moto x I'm saddened to learn Motorola sold out to "bigger". On the plus side I am glad that they give the option to be done with that annoying " OK Google Now" phrase....I have not used that great voice control feature because of that. Not sure what the complaint was with the original camera but I thought it was great. I think the twist to activate feature could have activated more ...
Re: Paylo, the low-cost provider run by Virgin Mobile...
That would be Virgin Mobile the low cost provider run by Sprint
Re: Or you could just buy it in the store
Sprint has been doing this for some time. It gives the benefit of buying online to get "Web only" exclusive deals with the convenience of picking up at the store. It saves on shipping costs for AT&T where they would normally give "free" overnight shipping. There are a multitude of ways this is good for both consumer and company and it has nothing to do with anything "status" related
Re: Open Letter To Robert "Bob" Johnson CFO/CIO for Sprint United
That letter might, though highly unlikely, carry more weight were it not littered with grammatical and spelling errors.
Smash it for a buck
The link on their site to "find out how to get one for $1" doesn't really tell you anything.. just asks you for your email address which then sends you a confirmation/verification email which gives you a link that takes you back to the same webpage with the same round-and-round links. I feel I'm going to be entering Spamville
Agreed.... a lot of people have been clamoring for a full physical keyboard on the high end phones... however, there are still a good number of people who don't need all the apps and jazziness that go along with high end phones and feature phones fill that void.
A step in the right direction going back to feature phones... not so much with the full keyboard... doesn't matter either way about the full keyboard because I'd still be able to T9 with the phone keys
A step in the right direction!
I'd love a great feature phone the way they used to be made with a modern twist... a great camera. Give me a good old fashion flip phone, sturdy, great reception, loud ear piece and a great camera... I can text better with T9 than with a full keyboard.
Don't let that scare you away... it's the same camera that was on the original One and it's great!
Re: WiFi data?
http://www.sprint.com/landings/prepaid/index. html?ECID=vanity:prepaid It's listed as "Blocked Network Data".... it's pretty clear on their site but a little ambiguous on this site.
For the win! Get 'em Son
... knowing how competitive the smartphone market is, why would the come to the table with inferior products? Voice dialing, fine, cool... quad core processore, fine, cool... but an awful display and only 3G support. Fire your entire R&D team
Will not connect to 4G/LTE at all.
What is the deal with this phone!! It will not connect to 4g no matter what I try. I live in the middle of a 4g area and I work in the strong end of a 4g area but this phone will not connect to it .... at all. Been 3G since I activated it. Side by side with my Moto X which has nearly full bars of 4G this G2 is stuck in 3G... I've read this complaint ...
Re: Speaker phone
Speaker phone is terrible on the X. At full volume it is muffly and crackly and it's still terribly quiet. It's the worst feature of this phone. But it is full duplex
Is that $20 per phone?
I don't see it in the article and since they did it last year maybe someone participated and would know the answer
It does work!!!!
I loaded it on 2 iPhones(4s and 5) and a Note 2 and it works perfectly between all of them and my Blackberry Bold....
True. Sprint is known not to carry major devices that other carriers do carry. I wouldn't hold my breath for anything new and earth shattering from Apple any time soon. The G2 is an interesting device with some of the new hardware integration. I'll be checking it out
Yeah "Wooooo"... they announce their availability a week after the other carriers and make it available a month after them. Way to stay ahead of the curve Sprint. As usual, you suck!
What a shame
This was the single greatest tool ever produced by Google. It was available before most browsers were capable of displaying web content. It was, until the moment they shut it down, faster than any web browser for finding information. It was available to anyone with a cell phone and text plan. I am sad and disappointed that this incredible feature is gone.
Re: I didn't know they had a Blackberry App
they don't have a BB app.... never have. Misleading article aimed at further discrediting Blacbkerry. No surprise, really, considering Mayer's unfounded contempt for the company. Yahoo is a terrible company with terrible products...Blackberry should send them a Thank You note for doing this public service
No music playback....
I was seriously considering ditching my Blackberry for this phone until I read that you cannot play music on it. There is no music player and no file management feature to find/use .mp3(or the like).... With that massive external speaker setup that should have been a priority element.
I'm so excited about this phone I can barely contain myself!

Re: You guys are dumb
Great thread. "You guys are so dumb"... you should have followed that up with "I'm in 2nd grade and don't know how to express my feelings yet"
Re: Half duplex ... really?
A little late to the party. Despite what's written in the specs on this site the phone DOES have full duplex.
Re: 9650 for Verizon
Re: Opera Mini or Bolt
As reported in your other thread, Opermini does not work on the Bold. Confirmed by several others on sprintusers. It either locks up completely or the cursor goes completely haywire and you can't do anything. Bolt appears to be substantially more solid. However, I still have not found any problems with speed or compatibility with the BB browser.
Re: Question about the browser
No problems on my browser.... yet. However, I did download OperaMini.... what a nightmare that has been. So far I have had to wipe my Bold and rebuild due to it completely locking up even after pulling the battery.

Thanks for the info. I think I got motion sick watching that video :(
Re: Half duplex ... really?
Great post! Way to contribute! Thanks for making your own point...
Half duplex ... really?
It's 2010. We have cameras built into phones that rival top market devices, wifi, super fast data... essentially a portable computer that fits into your pocket... Yet they choose to outfit this high end device with a HALF DUPLEX speaker phone? Seriously? I haven't followed Berry devices for a long time but is this typical for them? I use my speaker phone on all of my phones almost exclusively and a full duplex speaker is essential.
