Re: ATT's 10GB Plan
That's what the article says: "By way of comparison, AT&T's 10 GB plan costs $100 and its 15 GB plan costs $130"
Now this is a different kind of phone. Sharp, edgy, unique, with all good specs. Throw in some waterproofing and I'm in! I really like the look of this phone. Don't imagine it's all that comfortable in the pocket while sitting but not a deal breaker.
Re: Nice but........
that's a little weird to read bay city, mi (my old stomping grounds) in a forum like this
Re: Ridiculous Prices
The price of gold around $1200/oz and the watch is said to be 18k solid gold (not plated)....$10k sounds reasonable. That's to say nothing about the watch or technology or people who would actually shell out that coin... simply the gold factor.
Re: any rumblings on the Z4 or Z4C at MWC?
....was wondering the same thing
Re: Memory card and removable battery
It is a peculiar move for sure. And to not include waterproofing/resistance... both strange not to see included.
Re: I don't get it...
Government control of the internet.... Gov't has their finger in damn near everything lousy in this country... you decide if it's good for you to have them involved in your internet or not
It looks pretty good for a ruggedized phone. Did you do any other durability tests other than stick it in the snow? Any drops? Step on it? etc..
Re: go phone
I don't know about cricket but if I had to guess about the desperity I would say calling to mexico and Canada and texting around the world as part of the att plan accounts for the higher rate.
Just chatted with Sprint to get my iphone 6 DSU and ISU and I'm told that they can't do it and that Apple will be releasing an update some time in the next 2 weeks that will make that feature automatically available. She wasn't certain of the exact time frame but she was adamant that Sprint was not responsible for this action. I love Sprint
.... double edged sword
no WebOS.... no good it will not succeed without WebOS
Thanks for the update.
I'm wondering the same thing.... I'm interested in trying something new with Sprint and this might be it if it does in fact have 2 cameras
Re: Please post some comparison shots
Good request. It's a lot bigger than I thought. Thanks for the additional pics
I hope Twitter loses more than half it's user base with this stupid antic
Re: question for you
Look at the main full size pic in the review and you can see the mic hole at the bottom of the keypad area directly in the center of the phone.
Way to go HP!
Put a stake in the heart of the best OS ever developed.....way to go!
Re: I like it
Not sure how it's waterproof without a cover on the charging port... I like the idea and the size .. would be curious to see some sample photos taken with it
Is there a delay when you sign in that you'll receive the additional 15gb? I have signed in a few times and I'm still only at 15gb
I didn't find the program on Sprint's site but I found this article that has more information http://www.fiercewireless.com/ story/sprint-launch-50-unlimited-plan-iphone- 6-6-plus-customers/2014-09-09
"Sprint said the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be eligible for a new Simply Unlimited plan that offers unlimited talk, text, and data for just $50 per month for a single line" If you're in a good Sprint service area this is a great deal! I'm still on a SERO plan and I'm limited to 500mins per month for the same price.
I'm sure it won't be a deal breaker as it serves such great function... but one of the pics made it look like it was noticeably deeper than the original dimple and the metal looking ring around it makes me think it won't be nearly as comfortable as the original
thanks for the clarification
Ear piece volume?
My biggest complaint with the original X is the ear piece volume. I cannot get it loud enough to hear clearly in most situations and I have to use the speaker phone. It gets frustrating Have you had a chance to test the volume? If so, how does it compare to the original?
Is the dimple on the back as deep as it looks in the pics? On the original X it's such a great thought and position, not intrusive and perfect function
Re: new sample photos
thanks for the additional pics... .low light shots are not great. Looks like the zoom pics were hit and miss
As I type this from my original moto x I'm saddened to learn Motorola sold out to "bigger". On the plus side I am glad that they give the option to be done with that annoying " OK Google Now" phrase....I have not used that great voice control feature because of that. Not sure what the complaint was with the original camera but I thought it was great. I think the twist to activate feature could have activated more ...
Re: Paylo, the low-cost provider run by Virgin Mobile...
That would be Virgin Mobile the low cost provider run by Sprint
Re: Or you could just buy it in the store
Sprint has been doing this for some time. It gives the benefit of buying online to get "Web only" exclusive deals with the convenience of picking up at the store. It saves on shipping costs for AT&T where they would normally give "free" overnight shipping. There are a multitude of ways this is good for both consumer and company and it has nothing to do with anything "status" related
Re: Open Letter To Robert "Bob" Johnson CFO/CIO for Sprint United
That letter might, though highly unlikely, carry more weight were it not littered with grammatical and spelling errors.
Smash it for a buck
The link on their site to "find out how to get one for $1" doesn't really tell you anything.. just asks you for your email address which then sends you a confirmation/verification email which gives you a link that takes you back to the same webpage with the same round-and-round links. I feel I'm going to be entering Spamville
Agreed.... a lot of people have been clamoring for a full physical keyboard on the high end phones... however, there are still a good number of people who don't need all the apps and jazziness that go along with high end phones and feature phones fill that void.
A step in the right direction going back to feature phones... not so much with the full keyboard... doesn't matter either way about the full keyboard because I'd still be able to T9 with the phone keys
A step in the right direction!
I'd love a great feature phone the way they used to be made with a modern twist... a great camera. Give me a good old fashion flip phone, sturdy, great reception, loud ear piece and a great camera... I can text better with T9 than with a full keyboard.
Don't let that scare you away... it's the same camera that was on the original One and it's great!
Re: WiFi data?
http://www.sprint.com/landings/prepaid/index. html?ECID=vanity:prepaid It's listed as "Blocked Network Data".... it's pretty clear on their site but a little ambiguous on this site.
For the win! Get 'em Son
... knowing how competitive the smartphone market is, why would the come to the table with inferior products? Voice dialing, fine, cool... quad core processore, fine, cool... but an awful display and only 3G support. Fire your entire R&D team
