Completely out of touch
They ditched the 8gb plan that was $50/mo for the 6gb plan that cost $45/mo I don't know what the hell they're doing anymore
I've been sitting on the grandfathered AT&T unlimited plan contemplating ditching for something cheaper. I have the 450min phone part with unlimited data and a 22% employer discount and still pay $96/mo. When Verizon opened up their plan at $80 I thought that might be where I'd go but knew that AT&T would have to get in the game somehow so I held out with hopes that they would come in swinging. Verizon came out swinging like a full grown adult ...
Re: Game changer.
It is 22gb per line From their commercial: "Auto Pay(checks or debit cards only) and paper free billin required. After 22 GB/line/mo., we may prioritize your data behind other Verizon customers during network congestion. Mobil hotspot/tethering reduced to 3G speeds after 10 GB/mo. Subject to VZW agreements & credit approval: see vzw.com for details"
Down to $599 with the docking station... but only til Dec 3 I may pull the trigger just to try it out since they offer free returns until Janruary

Hope this sucker doesn't blow up on your wrist!
.....to completely destroying a nearly century's old company in under 3 years
great! a wireless version of the most uncomfortable ear buds ever made... and for $150 no less....
Re: Can't Stop Copying T-Mobile
Your argument doesn't make much sense. Why does it matter if they copy Tmob or Verizon or AT&T if it's giving away free UNLIMITED data the customer wins.
Re: BlackBerry DTEK50
Research in Motion? That was sooooo 2013! http://press.blackberry.com/en/press /2013/research-in-motion-changes-its-name-to- blackberry.html
Re: should have a keyboard...
Blackberry didn't make this phone
Old business model
They can't use their original business model any longer with the big boys bringing out equally great phones with equal or lower price points. Motorola and ASUS gotta be putting the pinch on OnePlus at this point with immediate availability and tons of customization options.
no LTE There needs to be a great little flip available to the market, I believe there is enough desire to warrant putting one out there but it can't be just some POS like this.
5 months ago it was $299
Re: Thinkit training in chennai
let me be the first to say...... um... what?
Re: My next phone
Agree... absolutely idiotic for them not to include the fingerprint sensor on the US version.
Re: NO THANKS
"Volvo.... An Apple company Never again worry about your car being hacked"
Re: love it!
....at least you know where your priorities lie sheesh
An idea, expanded
Same general idea that Motorola uses on their devices now, just in a different way. Still pretty neat
Re: you don't have to work on it, it already exists - MOTOROLA
and it's a new company with a less than stellar tech history which has bought out the grand daddy of all IT/mobile companies that everyone in the world knows and has some degree of positive experience with. USE MOTOROLA.... it's that simple (in my mind).... the only reason not to use it (as I see it) is pride.
damn nice looking phone!
you don't have to work on it, it already exists - MOTOROLA
"The company is still working on a more unified brand strategy for the longer term."
Re: Cook your a tool
You make a statement like "cook your a tool" without checking your grammar AND to the subject at hand and you expect anyone to take your post seriously? You are the tool if you think that Apple should comply. The implications of Apple providing the FBI or anyone/org with a backdoor unlock (hack) to it's own OS by exploiting it's own code reaches far beyond a single cell phone. There are billions of iOS devices running in every part of the world ...
Re: Watch out t-mobile..... NOT
They're also competing with AT&T who gives ZERO hotspot with their unlimited plan
Why not bring the Z5 Premium to the states too?
Re: what a scam
That's 22gb of data per line on the account not 22gb per account and ALL lines have to fall under that
In the words of Deuce Bigalow....
... that's a huge bitch!
Re: this is stupid
100% agree Terrible business idea
No details on their website about capacity or weight of this unsightly aberration
First smart thing they've considered doing in the past 8 years.
Re: Where is this deal on their website?
Was finally able to get to a live Tmob tech and he clarified that the plan is not $45/mo... it's actually $95/mo... the $45 is simply for the data and doesn't include any calling plans which MUST be added at $50/mo. For me that's not worth it....
Re: Where is this deal on their website?
um... what? The article says available starting Nov 26 and my question was How do I port in my line to get their unlimited plan for $45? I don't see that option anywhere on their webpage and their chat rep couldn't find it nor had "she" even heard of it.
Where is this deal on their website?
I looked on their site and was unable to find it... I even chatting with one of their agents who could not find the deal in question.... I'm on a Sprint SERO plan and it's finally time to cut loose from them. This is the perfect opportunity but can't figure out how to take advantage of it.
I bought this watch last Thursday at AT&T and returned it Friday morning as soon as they opened. To say it is beyond useless is an understatement. No settings to configure to your personal taste apps don't work can't install anything and the one thing it should be good at, making calls, was an exercise in futility. The only redeeming quality is that it is quite a nice looking device and felt good while wearing it. And despite initial ...
Seriously... 10gb of data, unlimited texting, calling through North America AND unlimited texting through 38 other countries? All on AT&Ts network? I may be dropping my Sprint SERO plan
Re: Follow the leader
That's 10gb total for all 4 lines with Sprint... Tmobile is 10gb for EACH line. Big difference.
Re: LG Cares
but it appears too flat and the color options are terrible.
what their customers want... awesome specs all around, testing the waters on some different technology and keeping removable battery and memory card slot. Winning
