re: no LTE?
why would they release the best device day 1? They have a whole line of dumb consumers who will wait in line for this "new device" that was released in June 2010. The device with LTE will come out when they actually get LTE phones. Perfect timing for all mentioned earlier to pay FULL PRICE for the LTE version. Because, you KNOW they will.
Its genius.
PS. CDMA + iphone = poop. That is like having a perfectly good ...
HTC G2. More like nexus 2.
Like another person's post. This phone is going to be loaded with vanilla android. (unaltered and not watered down). So... t-mobile never officially got the nexus... we do get the nexus 2.
I really dont understand why this phone is named the G2... Wouldnt the "my touch" be the G2? how about the "my touch 3.5mm"?
or the "LE Fender my touch"? "my touch slide"?
They should have just named it the G5. That is an entire "G" ahead of sprints ...
Re: Did any one get any $$$$??? WTF!
is there a 1-800 number? you shouldnt have to activate it. see if you can call the number on the back and get your balance. good luck... I haven't got SH!T. I saved my points... stupid me.
I had 300k points when the site went down.
Did any one get any $$$$??? WTF!

Re: INSTINCT

This phone sucks. The instinct beats T-mobile and Sprint everyday. The Instinct is much faster. I HATE T-MOBILE!!!!
jeez.... pay your bill.
this is pretty much the instinct...
the phone is made by samsung...
Why are you making excuses?
The review of this phone shows you what your getting. We are reviewing the phone and not the network. Why are verizon people saying "of course the phone will have bugs" "oh the network is so much better". Bottom line is that we are discussing the PHONE... Not the network...
If you claim that your phone works everywhere... your an idiot. If you claim that your network is better, your an idiot...
Find a network that works for ...
Time to Redeem Points
It is official. It is time to redeem your points. There is a catch. All points earned have been converted into a dollar amount, every point is half a cent. So... take your points and multiply by .005
example {100,000 points x .005 = $500 }
anyone who will receive more than $600 (120,000 points)has to fill out a tax W9 form.
At least samsung is honoring our points with something. And the dollar amounts are about right. They could have ...
Re: Will it have a multi tap touch screen?
awesome. i dont care about squeezing pictures. I was thinking more of a widescreen touch keyboard or an emulator like pocket nes that could use the screen more effectively. or any games that they develop for it.
Will it have a multi tap touch screen?
I want to know if it will have a multi tap touch screen like the iphone. This function allows the iphone to do cool things like shrink and expand pictures. This will open a lot of doors for writing 3rd party apps. does anyone have any feedback???
the phone costs $300
hello there. I work for t-mobile and the "cost" of this handset is $300. This would make it about $150 - $200 with contract. I am certain that there will be a $50 mail in rebate for new and upgrade. For the record, the pearl "cost" is $275. So think $25 more than a pearl
Re: Too bad it's made by HTC - so what's the point?
you will be able to load android on ANY phone. even your sill iphone
Re: Garbage!!!!!!!!
not our fault you owe t-mobile money. pay your bill next time.
or maybe your riding the verizon train. If i put out enough advertising that says dog crap has vitamin c, you would buy it.
CDMA is the way of the future! go read a book. It is your fault that we still have analog here in america.
Here is the Validation info you will need
this is the info right off their new terms and conditions. So I think this is for the new points being logged now.
1 Sponsor will select a random sampling of your reported handset sales.
2 You will receive an email notification containing a list of the IMEI/ESN/MEID numbers for your sampling of reported handsets, along with a tax Form W-9.
3 You must submit a valid invoice or cash register receipt as proof ...
Verification Process
Hey guys. I just spent about 30 minutes reading through the terms and conditions. Here you go.
1. Sponsor will select a random sampling of your reported handset sales.
2. You will receive an email notification containing a list of the IMEI/ESN/MEID numbers for your sampling of reported handsets, along with a tax Form W-9.
3. You must submit a valid invoice or cash register receipt as proof of sale for ...
I got an email reply
I emailed the customer service to ask them what specific info they will need from us to "verify" our sales.
phone number?
sim number?
customer name?
they emailed me back this
"George,
At this point in time we do not have any more details than what you received in your email. More correspondence will be sent out on September 24th.
Thank you,
Samsung Rewards Customer Care"
It sounds to me like they are not asking anyone to verify anything until the 24th. ...
Verify?
Does anyone know what they mean by Verify?
What other verification do they need from us? Do they expect us to keep all of the sales info? what will we need to verify?
sim # ?
phone # ?
customer name ?
Please reply if you have an answer...
IT IS BACK UP!!!!!!
here is the new website. you must have Samsung send you a code (sms) to your cell phone first. you should have an e-mail from them to verify your account, but here it is!!!
http://verification.samsungrewards.c om./index.php
here is the run down, you have to log all of your sales before sept 23rd. On Sept. 24th, you will get an email and fill out a tax form to be able to use your points.
Fraud
so a couple of meatheads ruined it for all of us!!! I had 300,000 points saved to buy something, and the day I went to buy it, the site went down. now they say we are going to be emailed with "verification of points earned". What does this mean? I think they should let us use our points pending a verification. It isn't our fault that they gave points instantly, that is just asking to be scammed. All this ...
