It might have something to do with the fact that sprint pcs was built using the same SID and considered the entire it's operating area. Older cell phone companies started out as having distinct areas by acquiring licenses in either MSA's or RSA's. In each area, Alltel, Verizon, or other CDMA carrier's had a unique SID (systemID). 1. It's very simple, cancel your plan and phones within the 14 or 30 day window that they gave you and there will be no problem.
2. If you have waited until past that time, call online customer service often until someone gives it to you. I find Alltel very flexible and considerate of it's customers and they have almost always given me what I wanted. Once in a great while I had to call back but very ...

I have two alltel phones and I spend about 150-180 a month with them for over a year and also pay for insurance, all axcess passes, telenav, etc. When I had problems with my wafers, they let me replace them as many times as I wanted, for free. Then a couple months ago they gave me two hues instead and I absolutely love those phones. And as a bonus, the data trasnfer rate is 2-3X faster ...

Are there any tricks to doing this? I am planning on trading in my Samsung Wafer(s) today for these phones.
I have been very let down by my wafers - I usually love Samsung phones. But the bluetooth is crippled and the voice quality is bad. Also the background noise cancellation is causing echo even after the new software update has been applied.
