i would wager they would only take one or the other, since the only diff is the pro has the slide out kb and a micro sd card, where the diamond has no such things.

Diamond Pro has more RAM, an internal GPS, TV out and a longer battery life.... In addition to the SD card slot and a QUERTY keyboard.

(I think) The Diamond will come out in Oct and Pro Early November.

I have no clue on specs. I just hope its not that Sprint burgundy color. I really wish they would keep the "Prism" look, but Im sure that wont happen.

The burgundy color is pretty repulsive.

So if Alltel does get both phones, the question is - do you go ahead and get the Diamond or wait until the Pro?

It's a tough decision...for me at least.

Same here... I just started a new post on this actually. I am thinking Diamond mainly because i wouldn't use the keyboard and its that is just something extra that can break.

Hmm..I just noticed your new thread. I would reply to that but I'm sure I know less than you, so I wouldn't be of any real help. I have the HTC PPC6800 now and though the keyboard does make typing easier for that phone, I'm not sure how much it would really help the Diamond and I don't do an extreme amount of typing(plus the keyboard is messed up on my phone now). I kinda wanted to stay away from the bigger, bulkier phone, but what I don't like about the Diamond is the no card slot...but I could probably do without one.

Lol yeah with 4Gb internal I don't think you need one that bad. I was thinking the keyboard would take some "wear and tear" and besides if the Diamond is like the Touch. It will have a QWERTY and a T9 touch keyboard on the screen. Plus the transcriber and all that jazz...

but i still want my ability to hold 8+ gb of music so i will go with the pro prob when it comes out.. 🙂

Lol 8gigs of music? Yeah you may need the Pro... I don't use that much up. Altho I am going to use a lot of extra space on apps and video as well as music....so I may need the pro. How much does the Pro hold with out an SD card?
