Re: Done in what sense?
Impressive! And you phrased it so much better then I did. Thanks!
Done in what sense?
They will be done with building LTE everywhere they have planned?
Or done with making every bit of Verizon coverage LTE?
Re: Why not just put a fork into Motorola
Really? Not going to buy another Moto phone because they didn't upgrade to ICS? Yeah I'm bummed too, but with that logic you won't by any smartphone again. They all pull this non upgrade thing.
To the guy saying they make junk. Have you owned one? I've got the Atrix 4G and now the Razr M. Both awesome solid phones. Wake up!
Verizon Push to talk LTE?
Any Android phones coming SOON that have Push to Talk and LTE? The CASIO G'zOne Commando is an ok phone but no LTE. My company is going with this phone and I'm heart broken.
Re: RAZR M
Thin like a razor.
First thought, wow that's awesome!
But, where do us AT&T users fall in all of this? Will my Atrix get 4.1? If not I can't trade it in for a $100 credit for a Verizon phone.
Web videos no longer?
So will I not be able to watch TV shows through the web browser any longer?
Camera Quality, what's wrong?
I keep reading that the camera isn't that great, but no details as to why. Is it picture quality, the application that is used to take the pictures??? Can anyone who has the phone, or tested it in person, tell me what the "Issue" with the camera is?
Re: Speakphone- Half Dulpex?
Half... only one persone can talk, or be heard, at a time. Full... both parties can speak and be heard.
Atrix HD for $49.99
If you want this phone I see it's only $49.99 at Best Buy.
Re: Unfortunate Trends
I was once with you on the sealed battery thing. But it does make fore a better water proofing and slimmer design. No days you can find battery powered phone chargers to get you by in a pinch that you would normally put your secondary battery in.
The Atrix 4G was a $199 phone when it was released. Your prices are from long after it was released.
Here's my very uneducated guess, in a few months or weeks we'll see the ...

Re: scree mirroring?
My wish has come true, it does allow for it! Youtube video below shows it working.

Re: scree mirroring?
Right it SHOULD. The Atrix 4G has the miniHDMI but when you plug it stright into the TV, without ant docks, all you get is pictures and video you shot. I want to be able to watch netflix, youtube and web page content and such.
scree mirroring?
No WebTop isn't a big deal. But does this also mean that you can hook up an HDMI cable and mirror the screen without a stupid media dock???
Re: Kevlar is a Gimmick
I don't think they are indicating that you can shoot it with a gun. Just that it's not going to shatter when it hits the ground, as an iPhone does.
Hit or miss?
Size looks good, not too big like the S III might be. The only thing that has me worried is the battery and the fact you still need a media dock to see the display on the TV. Hopefully I've just miss understood that and it won't HAVE to have the dock.
Re: Wow, really?
Sorry Vmac39, you're wrong. I had the same opinion as you until I took a job for a construction company. They won't give up Nextel direct connect until Nextel sails off into the night next year. They love the two-way.
Re: Welcome AT&T
And with AT&T having 3GB data for the same price as Verizon's 2GB data, it's a no brainer for you. Though I'm really looking forward to seeing what the shared data plans will look like.
Android versions
The article makes it sound like 2.0 is only for Android 4.0. I just installed it on 2.3 and it looks great! multi upload is something I've been hoping for for a while.
two SIM cards?
So that means two numbers in one phone? That would be great for personal line and business line in one device. I've been wanting this for years!
Will it save money?
I'm curious to see if subscribers will be able to save a few dollars on this or will it be like, each device brings 2GB data for $30. So three devices will enjoy sharing 6GB of data for $90 a month.
Re: 2005 Called, They Want Their Technology Back
Working with guys in the construction field this is exciting news, they sure love their Nextel Direct connect. As an IT guy, I just don't get it.
Re: so my iPhone 4G will work right?
About the cities... I believe AT&T is based out of Texas. I'd think it's much easier to setup and work on the closer it is to home base.
Re: This is a BS money grab...
This does suck, but at least they didn't rise the family one that I use.
@goldenoc, you're cutting ties with greedy AT&T to do what, deal with greedy Verizon or Sprint? Their all the same.
Why?
Just kill i-Den already. It's days are numbered.
Re: HTC Inspire 4G
Hello analyst422, I was just wondering where the Atrix fit in on your speed test among the 3 tested above?
DTV Delay
I'm sick of hearing about the upcoming transition. If people are too lazy to take initiative to take the correct steps to be ready it's their own fault. Let them be without TV for it bit, It'll be good for them and get their butts in gear to handle. June 12 will approach and we'll just be doing this same dance.
KEEP FEB. 17TH!
Re: PTT over Bluetooth
My phone don't have bluetooth but I have a bluetooth adapter pluged into the headphone jake and a bluetooth headset and PTT works great.
Re: no alarm?
Just use the calendar reminder for the alarm. Works great.
