Best Phone I've ever Owned.

Jul 12, 2007 by art23ncsu

Owned since February. Been a cell phone user since 1998. Best phone so far for me. Live in the mountains where reception is more unstable. Had a Motorola 815 prior that was the best for that and havent skipped a beat with this phone.

PROS- Ringers are loud, speakers/speakerphone is loud. Texting is a breeze. I text around 3000 messages a month. Starting a text message with flip closed then opening it up to continue is a snap. The pictures and video are great quality for a phone when I dont have my digital camera. Its real easy to save my own made ringtones on the phone when I email them to myself.

THE main reason I chose this phone is Wireless bluetooth Stereo for music listening. My MP3 player was stolen, so instead of getting another, I got this phone. I used the motorola HT820 Stereo headset which is a fantastic headset. I have now been using the Motorola S9 which is alot smaller but still working out some kinks. I go to the gym alot, so having my music for me with no wires is so great. I hate Wires. The range on both of these is a good 60 to 70 feet from headset to phone. A wall or structure will interrupt it however. Crystal clear music. If you get a call or text, interuppts the music. After hanging up/replying, music resumes. You can also put it on music only. All calls go to voicemail and texts show up after u turn this off. I have the 2g memory card, phone supports up to 4g. I check my email, movies, sports alot, use the navigator when im traveling. Its just a great package. I like the Vibrate options. When im out partying and have my phone in my pocket, ill turn on vibrate so when my phone rings, it will vibrate at the same time. This thing really vibrates! Unlike lots of other weak phones.

CONS-No flash memory for the MP3 player. If you stop the music to initiate a call/text, you have to restart from the beginning. I listen to tracks 25 to 60 minutes long and having to FF to that part i was at really sucks.

LOVE THIS PHONE!!!!

I got this phone the day it came out & absolutely love it. my 18yr old & 21yr got it also. we all love this.

pros:
everything, easiest txt for us novices. great camera(can't remember when I used my digital last)sturdy(yes I've dropped it)

cons:
battery could be better, but for as much as I use it I'm lucky I don't have to charge it more often.
not cute like the others, but who cares, everyone stops & ask about it.
lack of accessories.

I've had many phones in my life & was loyal to moto before, until the enV. Usually I'm ready for something better by now. not anymore.

Env/8300

Pros:
qwerty keyboard
cool menu's
camera - excellent
Speakers for music great

Cons:

Battery life - SUCKS, dies after 2 days and I don't talk a lot on my phone

Not comfortable to hold on ear, good thing Bluetooth works amazingly clear with this phone

Speaker Phone is horrible, you have to have the phone open to activate it then once you close the lid its all muffled

I had the Lg 8300 previously and absolutely love the phone, good thing my daughter loves this phone because I am giving it to her and going back to my 8300

This is a must phone for you if you:
Text alot, like good pix quality, like listening to mp3's, and want a good quality well built phone. I've had this phone almost a month now after being with very crappy Sprint for almost 10 years off and on and I can honestly tell you that Verizon is so much better than sprint. So here are my pros and cons.
Pros: Excellent 2.0 Megapixel camera
Very nice mp3 player
Screen quality is just amazing
This phone holds so much memory especially with a memory card.
Decent video quality
QWERTY keyboard is spaced very nicely
Very good battery life
And soooo much more
Cons: Can't send pix on highest resolution
Sound quality becomes an issue when the flip is not open.
Email button is useless.

Well thats my review. This is by far the best phone I have ever had. Don't even think of getting this phone, just get it. You won't be disappointed. Everyone I show this phone to becomes very envious. LG and Verizon; you did a really nice job with this one!!!

AWESOME PHONE--GET IT!!

Jun 24, 2007 by gatorgirl

This phone is beyond amazing. The ability to use a full keyboard to type text messages, instant messaging on AOL and Yahoo is fantastic. LG did an amazing job with creating this phone. This is the first phone that I have had that does not get hot when you are charging it and using it. The battery life is great even with texting as much as I do. I also want to say that the 2.0 megapixel camera is great and takes amazing pictures for a cell phone. I have to say that this is just basically an amazing phone overall and if you want a great phone get this one.

LG Env

pros: very good phone overall, good battery life, both screens are bigger than average, looks good, good contrast on both screens, speakers are high quality, keyboard is extremely easy to text on
cons: camera is 2 mega pixels but that takes up lot of the internal memory(26 pics is already half full), cuts off text messages in in box/out box after 50, evdo coverage isn't available everywhere YET so you can't take full advantage of all of the features, speaker gets weak when you close the phone(in mp3 mode)
Overall this is a pretty good phone considering all that it is able to do, it is a step down from a laptop but still pretty good. This phone is directed to the texters of the world, it is a little bigger than you average phone these days but in my personal opinion it is worth it. The only MAJOR problem with the phone is the camera lens has a tendency to pick up dust which causes it to sort of jam up and make it hard to open, you can bring it back to verizon and they will give you a new 1 (although i am on my fourth but those were all on the first week that I had it and didn't realize that you just shake it a little bit and it repairs itself.)

En V totally rocks!

This phone totally rocks! especially in this day and age of texting. It's very convenient to be able to use a full QWERTY keyboard but still have a lighweight and nice design at the same time...The En V combines both!!

This is your perfect TEXT phone

This is really the phone of reference for all the texting users out there! I have nothing bad to say about this phone. I love it, it's so practical. It feels just right in your hands. It has never failed me quality wise ...Awesome!

Wowwed by the enV!!

The enV is just WOW. Go get it or at least try it!!! You'll see why I am speechless especially if you use texting instead of rumbling voice mails no one listens to (you know what I mean...). Try it!!
