bopper's review of the HTC One (M7 / GSM)

original version, submitted Apr 18, 2013, 8:32 PM:

I got mine today

What great hardware design. Also great software. The TV remote works great. It's fast and sleek.

Pros:

Feels great in your hand
Very fast
TV remote is easy to set up and works
Lots of memory
HTC Sync for Mac is free and brings over your iTunes music
It comes with a slide keyboard built in
HTC Sense is pretty cool
Jelly Bean
So much is stored in the cloud, you shouldn't need more memory
iPhones don't have a removable battery either, they sell tons of them.

Cons:

I have to use two email programs to check all my accounts, but both came with it, and setup was easy
I haven't tried the camera yet
It's too new to me for me to have found many cons

The One combines impeccable design, a sleek aluminum body, sturdy construction, well-made software and a handful of innovative features into a single package that is class-leading in almost every regard. The fit and finish are outstanding and the latest version of Sense is elegant and smooth. (I stole that from a review, yes, I did)

Pros:

Feels great in your hand, really awesome desogn
Very fast performance
TV remote is easy to set up and works
Lots of memory
HTC Sync for Mac is free and brings over your iTunes music
It comes with a slide keyboard built in
HTC Sense is pretty cool, and I LIKE Blinkfeed.
Jelly Bean
So much is stored in the cloud, you shouldn't need more memory
iPhones don't have a removable battery either, they sell tons of them.
BEST SPEAKERS IN ANY CELL PHONE, PERIOD.

Cons:

I have to use two email programs to check all my accounts, but both came with it, and setup was easy. I also had to use two on my previous phone, so no biggie. (Exchange is the stickler...)
I haven't tried the camera yet...
It's too new to me for me to have found many cons

I love it, am proud to own it. If you worship the SD expansion slot and the removable battery, then buy something else, I don't find the lack of them to be an issue.
