My Speakerphone Echos, no one wants to talk to me!

Help!!! How do I correct this problem on my speaker phone. I just purchased the phone on New Years Eve.I only use bluetooth,or speaker phone. Is anyone else experiencing this problem????If you are how did you correct this?My kids are telling me to return the phone,they hate hearing the echo.I don't hear it on my side.

My phone did this as well. I took it into Verizon and they gave me a new one, and now it works find.

Thanks Vinny.....We must have gotten the same bad lot. I brought mine back yesterday, and I swear this phone sounds better too. I also had a problem with the battery. I noticed in one day my bars were down to one. So I am hoping this battery is better.
