Calendar Events

When I try to create new events in the calendar, it doesn't show that I have an event for that day. The event will be there, but the number on the calendar doesn't change colors and it says that I have "No Event" for that day. The only way I can get it to show there is an event for that day is to make it a repeated event. However, on the day of the event I still have the little calendar icon on the bottom of the screen. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I think I know exactly what you're talking about. Try skipping to the month ahead and see if that problem persists. On my enV, when i had the problem I brought it inot tech support, and they didn't even know what was wrong however they did skip to the next month to show me that it would be working for the month on and so forth. WHy it happens I have no idea but about 2 months ago, I had the same problem. The calendar works fine, you just don't see the even for the specific day..I know it's a bit weird. Let me know if you have thesame problem with the next month.

hahah No problem. Yeah It's unexplainable and weird but apparently for this month, your phone just does calendar events like this. I mean the calendar still works but in a weird way. My enV did this for the month of July and it was weird but once August came around, everything was fine again. haah

Yep...Same problem here...and it acts the same with past months and future months. If I delete an entry or two from dates close to the stubborn date, sometimes I can go back and re-enter with success. After calling LG moments ago, they said "the girl that owns that kind of phone (LG ENV ORANGE VX9900) doesn't have it with her today" So they are supposed to give me a callback within 48 hours. I will advise you of the outcome. Since the manual trails off at the bottom of page 66 regarding the Options Menu, I fear that this may be another example of a product that is hurried into production and never thoroughly tested(or jeez--maybe "Just try using the Calendar function, Einstein!") 😳

LG failed to call back, so I held their hand and called them. Conflicted, they stated that I could ship them the phone to examine? and at the same time said Verizon is responsible for the calendar function. I did manage to get the real scoop on SD card maximum capacity. It can hold up to a 4gb card. They were not able to tell me if calls can be recorded or not. I will contact Verizon for an answer regarding the calendar bug.

Sorry to hear about your calendar woes. I have very few appointments in my calendar, and I have never "synced" my calendar with any program, and I have Never had any problems with the calendar (or reminders) on my phone. It may have something to do with "too many" appointments, or trying to "sync" the calendar. 👀
4GB with V.02 software
2GB with the older v.01 software
But, be careful, most 4GBmicroSDHC cards get sort of "stuck" in the card-slot because they are a hair thicker than the 1 or 2GB cards. 🙄
Yes, calls can be recorded, but unfortunately, only one side of the conversation is recorded (the person you are speaking to). All you have to do is hold down the "clr" button (also has a microphone on it) while you ar...

Yeah the recording during a call is AMAZING! You can replay the message soo many times so that you get all of the information. It helps me out soo much. I didn't realize you could just hold down the clr button though... I go to my options top right softkey for voice recording. I'll have to try that. Fortunatley, I store a lot of appointments on my calendar just like you would on a regualr PDA. Everything work out fine for me. No complaints here. 🙂
