โ˜น๏ธ I have Version 2 on my phone and a 4GB card. All of a sudden, my phone will now Synch the Music with the New Version of Music Essentials. Any suggestion? I would go back to the old version and see if it would work, but I don't think you can download it any where any more.

Thanks for your help.

Instead of syncing using the music essentials software, make sure the card is formatted and then put in in the micro sd reader for your pc. Then you can just drag and drop you songs from you my music file. Just be sure that you shorten any file names that are long make them all as short as possible, so you know what they are. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I originally started doing it that way. I find it much easier to do it with the Music Manager Program. I just don't know why all of a sudden when I select Synch Music, it shuts down my phone.

Yeah listen i'd love to help myself but i've always just put my memory card right into my PC via Card Reader and just shortened the song titles and it's always worked for me. THat is werid though that your phone would be shutting down on you...that obviously shouldn't be happening.

It sounds like you added a song (or some file) into your "my_music" folder that the phone doesn't like. Do you have an extra card you could format and try "syncing" with a clean slate? ๐Ÿ‘€
Another option is to put the card in a reader and delete the most recent 3 songs you added using the "sync" feature and to make sure you don't have any "subfolders" in there. ๐Ÿคจ

Interesting. Good advice though Ashaneen. Sometimes starting w/a clean slate is the best way to do things although the phone should usually recognize all of your music on the memory card. As said before, if you are doing it through Card Reader, just amke sure the song titles aren't very long and you should be fine. That's what I also have to be careful of.

๐Ÿ˜ That was it. I tried another card and it worked. So I went a deleted the last few songs that I had put on the other card and the phone now Synchs.

I don't know what the people on this site would do without your expertise.

Thank you
