LG Data Cable Issues
I have the MEK but lost the original data cable which worked.
I bought a cable off ebay and now I cant get it to recognize my phone. I have the original MEK cd - I tried both the drivers from cd included and drivers from MEK cd.
Please, anyone?

Sounds like you may have installed the incorrect drivers (the ones provided with the cheapo-ebay cable).
A solution may be to uninstall all the enV-USB drivers and re-install using the ones on the CD or these:

Just out of curiousity, will this work for the 9800 also? No one wants to tell me how to find the drivers for my data cable for it so I can use BitPim again...any thoughts?
