Does anyone know if tmobile will have those silly restrictions on the plans that could be used with the Sk3 like they had with the 2. I really think that its stupid that they restrict some people to just getting data only or data with very low mintues. Not everyone wants to use it just for email and messages some people would like to use it as a phone as well.

you have to do the add-on plan to a normal minute plan. Yes, it is stupid.

the restrictions were credit based. meaning that you couldn't have a 1000 min plan with the sidekick data package because it'll throw you over your "spending limit" if you have that, you can only get the 300 min plan max. no way around it unless you have been with them for at least a year! just my little FYI.

Can you get nites and weekends with their 300 mintue plan. I still don't see why they just don't impose spending limits like sprint does if you got over $250.00 cut till you play that makes more sense to me. I feel they are encourageing people to another provider for voice which will cause them to get srewed in the end because when money is low and both bills are due at the same time I going to pay my phone with the voice then when I have the extra money I'll pay tmobile. That would not have been the case if I just had one cell phone bill just some food for thought for T-mobile.

i don't think you can get free nights and weekends with that plan. an actuall amount would be better i agree. sprints lowest is $125. god i should hope 1 phone bill of mine never gets that high.

Its called smart access...you get it when you either have bad credit, limited, or no credit at all....basically you are building credit with T-Mobile. Your not a regular account so you can't get regular features one would get, pretty much like anything else, if you don't have a specific membership you don't get the same privileges, just a lil info for yeah

If you have the smart access plan that restricts you from getting the the sidekick plan, you do have an option. Switch to the prepaid plan then you will be able to use all the web options. 😉

Once again they are going to ask for a $500.00 deposite the could actual give you access. Smart Access what an insult there is nothing smart about insulting your customers by limiting the plans they get especially when they pay upwards to $500.00 despoit. Anyway I think they give you full web options they just cut your mintues.

Smart access is T-mobile taking a chance on someone who had not taken care of their credit (defaults on credit cards and such). If you resubmit application for deposit access you are free to choose any of the rate plans available to all other customer. It's not an insult, mind you.
