ericsson p990 vs 8525
i have a very hard choice.... i dont know which one to purchase
i love the style of the 8525 and every other feature that it has, however, it does not have infrared and i really want a phone to have infrared.
the 990 has infrared and basically does everything the 8525 does, but i dont really like the look of the p990.
i also heard that the software for the 8525 is way better and more compatible with all other applications so im likin that also..
this phone does have picture id i presume, but what i want to know is, when i assign a picture to a number, when that same number calls me, does the picture take up the entire screen and when i am on the phone with the person, will the picture continue being displayed?? basically what i a...

It doesnt come standard with a full pic but photo contacts pro will give full pictures on incoming call. Once the phone is answered, the pic goes away and goes to a timer and the name of the caller.
The cingular version does have wifi.

well with 3G, it will suck some battery life but you should be ok. It is probably the most powerful device that cingular offers at the moment. I dont recommend putting songs on the phone itself. I have a 700wx and I put all apps on phone and all mp3's on sd card. You can get a 4 GB SD card for a fair price on ebay or newegg.

im already excited about this phone.. the main thing im excited about is the wifi.... i have wirless in my house and have a laptop and also a pc, but havin a phone that can access the internet as easy as that is a plus... its a benefit that i dont have to pay for it also
