Audio over BT

Blightner

Has anyone figured out how to stream audio over Bluetooth (non-stereo)? I found if you listening on media player, and press the talk button on the headset, it will play through the headset for a couple seconds, then cut out as soon as the Voice tag menu disappears. I know it's possible, but you might have to disable some Voice Dialing option or somethin.

I downloaded it, and extracted the files. It seems to work porperly, as soon as I switch it ON, I hear the headset running audio through it , however, I can't listen to any of my audio/video files in Media Player. Do you have any more tricks up your sleeve?

& download the "bluetooth_sound.zip". After extracting it, cut & paste to any folder on your 8525. Tap on the CAB file to install it.

It worked with my Motorola H300. WOOOHOOOO!!!

I used this one and it works fine for me. After you hit the play button, you may need to press the talk button on your headset once or twice before it will play through the headset.

So if I buy a Jabra BT620s Stereo Bluetooth headset (that apparently requires A2DP.) I would have to use this cab file to be able to utilize it. (on my cingular 8525)????????????

This CAB file is for mono sound output bluetooth headsets....stereo bluetooth headsets should already have the functionality to stream music. 😉

I followed directions in downloading .exe file. however, it does not work for me. I have 8525 with plantronics BT headset.

I turned on headset, paired with phone and then using windows media player (and GSplayer) played song. Then I used toggle.exe file and heard a beep but then crackling sound. The audio did not stream over to BT headset.

Any ideas?
