The 6101 does have EDGE, I think that he is saying that the Moto does not have EDGE. So far only 2 out of the last 6 Moto phones for T-Mobile have had it.

PEBL - NO
V188 - NO

Is a base line phone....Edge would do nothing to improve it..leave aside maybe making it a litle faster to download a ringtone or something...T-Mobile launched edge last september...it doesnt do much but make interet speeds a little faster. Edge is more of a lubricant for 3G...

Just remember, T-Mobile doesnt make the phone, or choose to put edge on it or not! Notice all the phones that were listed; Razr, Pebl, V188, V195 etc. that would be motorola's bad call not adding edge! and edge by the way has no way shape or form any correlation with 3g or it being a lubricant for 3g! Astroglide is a good lubricant!
