branded or unbranded
i am a cingular cuztomer and my contract is going to expire in a couple of months. ive had my eye on this phone for a while, and was happy when cingular picked it up. my qhestion is, what are the differences between the branded and unbranded versions? because ive heard good and bad things about both. if anyone had some information i would be very grateful.

ps, it's cheaper to buy a branded phone and unbrand it since it's basically free after the rebates.

Agreed. Chuckles..., do searches on "locked unlocked" and on "branded unbranded" (no quotes) and you'll find most of the discussions.
Enealio, if my reading of some the retailers under the Shop tab here is correct, the phone after rebates is free-er from them than from Cingular... $0 vs $100.

debranded version has a lot of features that cingular take of on this phone ,, but beware if you debrand the phone you wont be able to download nothing from cingular ,, you can download from any website and instal everything you want exept from cingular media mall ... i prefer debranded since i never buy from cingular but if you use mobitv or any suscriptiopn from cingular you wont be able to use...
