AM I Missing Something?
if the phone would allow any mp3 as a ringtone, it would eliminate the step of having to edit your song first...it would just make it much easier i guess...
i hate use mp3 for ringtones never sound clearly so y could hear from another room or when in noise area. I prefere good polyphonic that can be hear laud and clear no matter where you are. you want to listen a song just push play in you mp3 player and thats all.. imagine you mother calling with an emergency and you dont pick the call just for listen the mp3 jajajaja what an idiot idea..
for that the phone is an mp3 player to listen music wenever you want and wrever you are..

No problem. I understood you just fine. Where are you from?
i don't care to pay for a bunch of lousy sounding clips to use as mp3's and the built in ringtones i simply don't like.
because i'm usually doing something and my phone is sitting on a desk near me, i really like to assign different ringtones to different people. seeing as how this is an mp3 phone, why not just use the mp3's already in the phone? granted you won't hear the good part, but it's fun.
another reason is that the phone was designed to use them and then cingular disabled it so you go and purchase them from cingular. that's the really annoying thing.
