To all who don't know how to fix the low volume issue. It can be fixed, my W810 earpiece volume went up by about 100%, by downloading new accoustic drivers to the phone. For more info go to howardforums.com
and look into the SE modding forum.

You write that your volume went up by about 100% but you didn't write about sound quality. Does it actually sound good or is there a compromise involved? I went to howardsforums.com and tried looking for the exact entry you refer to in the SE modding forum. Maybe you could reply with the entry (copied web address) that'll lead us to the acoustic drivers we need. (The low volume issue is my major gripe with the phone.) Also, is it possible to flash for volume enhancement without debranding the phone? Thanks.

The sound quality went down as more bass and mid tones are present to boost volume in addition to increased power to the earpiece, but the tones do not matter as long as I can hear people.

I cannot give you a link since they become invalid pretty soon. You have to do your homework and find what they call qwerty12 accoustic files or fungied.cheese pack.

Regards.

its not that low, maybe you have bad hearing if you cant hear on it, i can hear just fine. so no need to spend the money on debranding. its a waste of time and money.
