Locking the phone

Is there an easier way to lock the phone rather than going into tools>phone settings>security>lock code>lock mode>etc.>etc. Thanks.

GOOD QUESTION!!! i sure hope someone will answer...as the tech at verizon told me all the answers were here.

I mean come on even my ancient rinky dink nokia 6010 has an easier lock!!!!!
